I have received my package. I'm fighting the urge to open it. Might have to take a peek since it's my birthday.  ;D

I'm in for this year. $50 limit sounds great and I'm okay with shipping to US, Canada and Mexico. I could probably swing overseas shipping but definitely want to stick with NTSC / NA games (I don't have a means of testing other regions).

Broadcast Engineer for a major TV station in Oklahoma. I get to tinker with all sorts of stuff from cameras and bonded cellular systems to high power transmitters and some of the helicopter equipment.

Thanks SO much, Secret Santa! I know I said to keep your identity a secret, but feel free to let me and the others know who you are! I loved all the gifts; they were so thoughtful, and I especially loved the handmade Kirby ornament!

Glad you liked them.  :)  I was really worried about Kirby making it there in one piece; glad to see he did! My sister hand-shapes all the little bits and pieces and she entrusts me with the glue gun to get them all on the glass ball. If anything ever happens to him a hot glue gun will do wonders to patch him back up.

I finally arrived home from my travels and sat down to open the gifts from my Secret Santa. I gotta say, these were wrapped really well. I've turned into a gift bag person over the years and wound up wrapping my outbound presents three times before landing on something presentable, so I tip my hat to those that make it look so easy.

What a haul! My Secret Santa scoped out my collection and found a few things to help complete a few of my Genesis games (manuals for Sonic and Sonic 2 and a box for Fantasia). I also got Lethal Enforcers II for the Sega CD, Batman Forever for the Genesis, Star Wars Episode I Racer for the Dreamcast and GoldenEye 007 for the Wii. I can't wait to try these out! I used to spend hours playing the deathmatch rounds on GoldenEye on the N64 with my sister - I'll have to challenge her to another few matches on the Wii version to see if I can finally beat her.  ;D

I want to send out a big THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to my Secret Santa. Your thoughtfulness and selection was amazing.

Box arrived today! Can't wait to open the presents. I'd love to join in on the live unboxing.

You mean the one Retro Basement is doing on Tuesday?

On second thought, I should probably just post pictures again. I have all of my camera equipment rented out again (should probably expand my inventory).  ;D

My main box utilizes two Intel Xeon chips at 2.4Ghz with six cores on each chip. Does OK for games but really chews through my video renderings. I need to get a few SSDs and a GTX 1070 on order so I can handle VR.

I've been trying to replace my boxes before having to resort to using tape. I wish I could get the hard plastic ones but those are running like $30 apiece...too rich for my blood.  :o

I swapped all of my regular boxes out for Drawer Boxes from the Collection Drawer Company. Makes it really easy to get to everything, especially issues in the boxes at the bottom of the stack. They run a bit over $10 each in packs of five.

I'd also recommend setting the bottom row up on some 1x2 or 2x4 wood blocks/strips in case there's a leak. I had the pan for my hot water tank leak and it took out my entire bottom row of boxes. Thankfully I had everything bagged and boarded so I didn't lose any comics.

Dr. Phil came to my TV station. I passed him in the hallway and said hi. He stared at me in awkward silence and then kept walking. It was weird.

I have 11 upright machines and two cocktail tables right now. Would love to add some pinballs at some point when I get more room.

A quick comparison of my sell list with your wish list - I have Maze Hunter 3-D (SMS, complete) and Zaxxon 3-D (SMS, cart and box, no manual). Everything else on my sell list is available for trade with the exception of the Laseractive controllers in case you see something that tickles your fancy. Let me know if you want photos of anything.
