If the Nintendo 64 cartridges were manufactured with larger capacity, the cost is  lumped onto the the publishers, and THEN it's dumped onto the consumer for what would likely still have been a ton of inferior ports.  The Nintendo 64 would STILL be a baron wasteland for RPGs because CDs would still have been the optimal choice.

See how this isn't as simple of a fix?  The N64 has a plethora of problems, but the storage space one just gives rise to more problems when trying to fix it.

Sonic Mania [EU] - listed under Nintendo eShop (Wii U) which it isn't being released on the Wii U

https://vgcollect.com/item/121842 <--- Should be moved to Nintendo eShop (Switch) EU

Okay, now that I have a Switch in my hands, I can speak from the small amount of experience I have:

It doesn't appear to download / install games / updates while in sleep mode.  Perhaps that could be addressed?  At least while the system is docked.  The Wii U & the 3DS can do this so I think it's only a matter of time before that would be incorporated.

The strangest thing that I kind of missed, there's no music on the eShop... what?

that's not really an issue only in certain countries pal A is available and in inferior numbers. it is expensive though Nes in europe

The United Kingdom is one of those countries that uses NES PAL-A.  I'm confused as to whether PAL a / B work across Matel & NES console versions

Nes in europe has been insane, I remember megaman 2 cib being like 30 - 40 euro's around one year ago for thelongest time easy everywhere at best cib. At the moment however it seems to have risen to around 60 - 80 euro's that was kinda shocking how that happened  :o

In europe it seems to get more expensive. There are games that have stayed the same price but there are also many examples that have become more expensive especially the common good games.

I can reiterate this, collecting NES in Europe must be a pain because you have to worry about PAL-A/B as well.

main-line Pokemon games are continuing to climb here in the UK, especially HeartGold / SoulSilver which I've been finding in box for about £60, above retail even those w/o pokewalker.  Gamecube games have pretty much doubled since 2009, I got Smash Bros. Melee for about £16 back then, now you'd be lucky to find it below £30.

Thought you would of picked Bass Armstrong considering your username-sake, I guess you're a little tiger also.

Never saw Bass rescuing her daughter in a creepy city against everything or kicking the butts of all the punks just to get her daughter back, also Tina doesn't need any help with anything  ;D

Because if he did, it would be the Resident Evil 6 and he'd be EVEN bigger than Chris Redfield  :o

No offense but with the exception of Joel from The Last of Us I only saw a bunch of pu** kitties here, for me two of the best dad's ever are Harry Mason from Silent Hill and Mike Haggar from Final Fight these two are not only some of the toughest dads, they do love their girls and definitely they would do anything to rescue them, wouldn't mess with these two  ;D

I would appreciate if they released a "non-portable" version of the console.

Applying the revised handheld model for the Switch, it's neither a home console or a portable.  This sounds not quite as straightforward as the Game Boy Micro or the Wii Mini.  I fear the console would lose a lot of its appeal in doing so but I suppose it would be possible if there's enough interest.

It actually makes sense for Nintendo since the Wii U sold so poorly. As long as there is some added value (ie, the DLC included on disk for Smash Bros. & Hyrule Warriors, etc.) then I'm game.

I get why they're doing it, doesn't mean I have to be excited about it.  Please note that I said "this gen" not just Nintendo.

I'm cool with remakes and games that weren't released prior Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for example, that Metroid: Samus Returns is okay with me (just worried about the dev team behind it).  Mario Kart 8 with a fully implemented battle mode just doesn't quite do it for me.

Are Capcom making a new Devil May Cry?

Ness's Dad from EarthBound. He gives advice, money and saves your game.

Not much to him, never seen on screen but helps you out through the whole journey
That's what makes him interesting to me. There could be nothing to him, there could be a lot to him, either way, I can't think of too many characters that impact a game like that.
He can't be a physical part of his son's life but he still cares enough to call and talk and be part of his life. As someone who's Dad was away working a lot of my young life, I relate to Ness and his Dad's relationship.

Looking back at my reply, it sounded like I was talking down your answer, I'm agreeing with you.  DESPITE not appearing on-screen, he helps the player out.  Any other game, even RPGs would just have an option on a menu.

1. Why don't they have an achievement system on a Nintendo console in 2017.  This is just common practice at this point.  It should be almost mandatory.

I don't believe this is necessary, Nintendo games often reward you in-game instead of triggering some arbitrary flag that exists just to say "You did it!".  There Smart device games have 'missions' with the incentive of in-game credits and stuff.

Nintendo is pretty adamant about not having ANY media stuff on their consoles at launch because they want to reinforce the fact that it is a game system first.

That makes sense, it'd be cool if I could access Crunchyroll on it.  I wouldn't buy a console solely as a media centre, but if I could unwind after a busy day or a game session with a couple episodes of Barakamon, I'd use and really appreciate that.

I would like Nintendo Online to be robust and of a reasonable value once it becomes a paid service.  Most of all just keep up a flurry of fun & Interesting games, I'm getting sick of Remastered games this console gen.

I am going to hope and pray that Nintendo announces a Mother 3 localization. It's one of my favorite games of all time and I would be so happy if it happened. I would totally buy that day one, even if it was out on the Switch!

I think the 'even if' at this point would be releasing on the Wii U.

I've just checked the back of 2 Wii U games I have on my shelf:

Mario Kart 8 has 3 separate ratings on the front cover, multiple languages written on the back cover (Primarily English & German) cat no. TSA-WUP-KAFX-EUR.

I bought this from a local retailer but it was part of a bundle with the console so that's a general European Print.

Star Fox Zero, only has a PEGI rating on front, English on back cover.  Cat no. TSA-WUP-AFXP-UKV  (I bought this used, but appears to have been distributed specifically in the United Kingdom.

Thanks for bumping me with off your all-important input Marv

Nonetheless, punch that fire in the nuts!  My answer is a Fireman

I really enjoy your videos, another nice review! :) I really liked the controller overlay to show how the game controls, it makes it a lot easier to see what you're talking about.

It took some time, but I managed to get it looking better than I imagined.  I'm glad you're enjoying my content.
If you or anyone on VGCollect have any suggestions (a series or a particular game) please feel free to let me know.
