Both Fallout 2 for GOG.com... right?

http://vgcollect.com/item/16674
http://vgcollect.com/item/88485
Fallout Tactics for GOG

Fallout for GOG

foxhack put these games in, I think they were meant to be separate entries.

GOG.com -
Fallout - http://vgcollect.com/item/88483
Fallout 2 - http://vgcollect.com/item/88484
Fallout Tactics - http://vgcollect.com/item/88485

But wait, you say. Aren't those already in the database? Well, yeah, but they were originally sold by Interplay and are not available for sale anymore; they had "Classic" added to their names to separate them from the Bethesda re-releases.

I added new listings for these versions because they're missing pretty much all the extras from the original releases, including Mac builds and soundtracks. Because Bethesda.
My bad, that seems to be true, because I own the "Classic" version in GOG, I thought all versions were classic, didn't realize that when the license fully transferred over Bethesda cut content.

So would an entry look like this then:
SteamWorld Dig - IndieBox
Risk of Rain - IndieBox

I think that format would make sense.
I'm stupid and didn't even search specifically for IndieBox first

http://vgcollect.com/search/indiebox

There are a few in the DB already.
[Title] Collector's Edition (IndieBox)"

I don't really consider the digital games (that I purchased or got through PS+) really count in my collection as they just sit on a hard drive, not on a shelf. However, I decided to put them in my collection because I also use my collection as a backlog.
This was my mindset.  If these titles are in my "collection"  I will know that I can play them at some point... as long as I continue being Plus/Gold

Modern Video Games / Star Wars BattleFront III
« on: January 22, 2016, 07:53:00 am »
So did anyone else see the 4chan/reddit posts yesterday about some guy leaking the alpha build of the original Star Wars BattleFront III developed by Free Radical Design?

I may have downloaded it, but until I acquire a 360 devkit or modded 360, I can't know if it works.  But it sounds legit.

It's kind of like Loot Crate but with more of an emphasis on software, right?
Kinda tricky..... I'd say if they generally offer more games than swag you can put it under PC as you mentioned. Not sure how other admin would feel about this one.
Every month they pick a game and release a "physical" version of it with a bunch of related swag.  I have the SteamWorld Dig and Risk of Rain indie boxes.

How would one go about putting that on the site?

It is a physical release of PC game.  Comes with swag and such.

Put it under PC [NA]?

I personally do not consider any digital only game part of my collection, but here is how I consider it compared to things like steam. with ps+ the only way you are physically able to play the game is to own a ps+ membership. whenever they remove the servers even if you have the game already downloaded you will be unable to play it because it will no longer be able to recognize you as a ps+ member. unlike in steam where so long as you hold on to the data and an operating system that's capable of playing it you will always be able too play a game bought from their, even if steam goes bankrupt or something like that.

so by that logic I would consider only things you will realistically be able to play/display forever part of the collection.

Edit: I have no idea what gwg is but im assuming that it is a subscription based gameing thing
I do wonder about that, I'd like to hope they either never take down the servers (Which they are already planning in Japan for the PSP store, but you can still download the PSP titles through your PC or PS3 and transfer them to your PSP), or they fix something so that you can still play the games.  Such as "Oh, we are shutting down PSP servers, any PSP titles that show up in your Media Library as PS+ titles that expire on a certain date, no longer have an expiration date", basically making you own the title.

Or they could just screw you and say nope, sorry, you lose.  But they do tote "You own these titles as long as you are an active subscriber.", that would be some major backpedaling.

Do you folks put these games in your collection?

I consider putting them in my collection because I don't intend on quitting either service, but if I did, I would lose all of those games.  Plus you don't really own the games.

I forgot to cancel my physical limited edition of Life is Strange... just came in the mail... 2 or 3 days ago.

Did you get the ps 4 or Xbox one version?

I was on the fence. Finally decided to get it. Then all they had was.Xbox One version.
PS4.  As far as I'm aware it's still available from Best Buy's website

Look at this wacky Hori controller for Wii U. Interesting ZL/ZR placement.

From what I hear, it's supposed to match the style of the arcade panels for Pokken Tournament.

Category "PlayStation Network (Vita)" should be "PlayStation Network (Vita) [NA]"

Also, to match everything else shouldn't "PlayStation Vita [US]" be "PlayStation Vita [NA]"?

PlayStation Network is a mess  :'( There are things to change around in there, but the cross-buy makes it more complicated to manage. A brainstorm over this is in order.
I suppose it is, but I'm just referring to the name of the categories.

Also, cross-buy is the equivalent of owning multiple copies of a game.

On a separate note, I'd like to petition that we split the "Xbox Games Store (X360) [NA]" category back to "Xbox Live Indies [NA]", "Xbox Live Arcade [NA]", and "Xbox Live Games on Demand [NA]".  Browsing through the Xbox Games Store (360) category is madness.  At least splitting out the Indies category would be fantastic since it's a dead category and you can no longer purchase these titles.

Also, changing (XbOne) to (X1) or (XB1)
