Off Topic / Bands you listen to the most

I was listening through some of my music while on delivery and realized there are a few bands that I listen to a lot more than anyone else. So much that I own every CD release they have.

Alice in Chains - One of my top bands of all time and my absolute #1 CD (Dirt). I could listen to them wail for hours.

Cranberries - My other top choice in the 90's. This was the only music poster I ever had on my wall. Delores was my dream girl for years.

Disturbed - Couldnt say enough about them. Been a hardcore fan since the first song ever hit the airwaves.

Breaking Benjamin - Probably the ones I listen to the most right now. They do not have a single song I dislike.

Celine Dion - Say what you want ... this woman has a voice that would top anyone at anytime.

I was scrolling around through some sites and I always end up on Gamestop's site to see if any new releases are announced. Then I saw a game that was released 3 weeks ago already marked down $20 (Battleborn). Why the fuck did I pre-order this game if I could have just waited a couple of weeks to save $20? I wish I hadnt opened it. The return policy is 1 month on unopened items. I could just return it and rebuy it.

Since its technically April, time to start a new thread!

And I think this is the first time in the 4-5 years here that I start it 

Today was Super Bitcon here in OKC. First and foremost, I got to spend the day with the homie Turf. Was a grand adventure of gaming, collecting, and chatting. I also happened to add a few things to the collection. I picked up that infamous Mario phone for $30. 2 PS4 titles (Lego Jurassic park and Warriors Orochi 3). A JP release DQ monsters game. And lastly I added Pesterminator to my NES collection which I think is the first NES addition I picked up in about a year.

Gamestop has an ad right now that accidentally lists Pokken Tournament as $39.99 instead of $59.99. They themselves will not honor the ad but if you take it to some other places they will. I just left Best Buy with my copy.

Modern Video Games / MK XL

Anyone else a Kombat fan like myself? I traded in my MK X the moment I heard about XL to get max value toward the game. Picked up XL the first day and have been playing it again every night. I still love it.

And I have a bonus for you guys. Cyber Sub-zero is a hidden character in the game! Select Tri-borg as your character and when it comes time to pick his fighting style, hit up, up and triangle for PS4 (I think someone said its Y for Xbox peeps) and it will change to Cyber Sub. He has the same fatalities as the rest of the Tri-borg but the moves are definitely Cyber Sub including the dive kick.

So I backed this game on Kickstarter and the surveys just went out. As part of the survey, they are offering add-ons. Including the option to add physical copies of PS4 games. Are any of you interested in one?

If you pre-ordered the game after the 18th of November, chances are that you may not get it :

Technically that means it was only available for 2 days to pre-order cause I ordered it day one it was available and it shows to be on the 16th.

General / Pre-orders ... what to do with them

I have recently realized that I have become quite obsessed with pre-orders. I guess its cause of the issues that has happened before with items like Amiibos and the silly bonuses that come with them even though A) I dont use/care for almost any of them and B) Most of them end up available in the future as it is.

Right now, I look at my list of pre-orders and wonder wtf on half of the games I have reserved. My back log is incredibly large and keeps getting bigger every week.

I guess what Im asking does anyone else do this thinking that the one game they dont pre-order is going to be that weird title that ends up lost in reseller hell?

Hardware and Tech / Arcade restoration

I think its time in my life where I finally get this taken care of. My Black Tiger arcade cabinet has been through some hell. The screen is forever burned in and will not correctly focus. The cabinet itself has seen better days. Anyone here do restorations or know a place near OKC that does them?
