Hardware and Tech / Re: Sega Master system

Does anyone know on what Mhz the SMS works?

Im having trouble finding it on a flatscreen.

Just a buy a master system AV cable I also hate searching for the channel for these systems.

It really saves allot of time especially if it is your first time and the image quality is slightly better to.

Also some flatscreens do not have anologue mode anymore so It could be possible that you cannot use your master system console on your flat screen.

1 Pokemon ruby my first game.

2 Super smash bros melee

3 mario kart double dash

4 Raiden II wich i played at an arcade machine at a used car dealer it was a raiden arcade machine for 2 players.

5 Pokemon mystery dungeon blue rescue team.

after explorers of the sky these series went downhill explorers of the sky was the best though so much replay value since there were some dungeons in blue rescue team wich were nearly im possbible especially for recruiting the dungeon bosses.

Honorable mentions since the ones in the list were the games I had as a kid early on still though these games here wich I played are also from before I became a collector many years have passed before I went on that collectors road.

Mario & luigi partners in time
Fire emblem shadow dragon
mario galaxy series
second samurai sega megadrive at a friends place

My child hood games wich I still have bad dreams about:

Mario party series

If by Shinobi you mean the 3 first games and Shadow Dancer I would agree but please, Shinobi Legions/X is a complete mess.

Shinobi Legions is awesome. I'm in complete agreement with him. Love the digitized graphics, the 2D gameplay, and the oh-so-awesome live-action ninja cutscenes.

Those bad ninja cut scenes are priceless

Gameplay, music, sounds and presentation wise it is the best in the series.

@turom

I can't blame you I you prefer the 2d grapics though and that you don't like the classic ninja cut scenes and the less serious visuals, if that's the case the former games are indeed a better choice for you.

LOL

Why does everyone mention those mediocre ninja games or shoot em ups wich aren;t even ninja games.

I never here anyone saying some decent 2d ninja games.

The return of shinobi for the megadrive/genesis for example

or

Shinobi III for the megadrive or genesis wich is even better

Or the best one shinobi X for the sega saturn

(pal version has superior soundtracks over the us version though)

I myself usually prefer english language instead of the original japanese audio, however after playing allot of RPG's I've seen that allot of rpg's with english voice acting is pretty bad.

In those cases even the japanese audio sounds better to me and in some cases way better.

Still though if the voice acting is good I prefer english audio.

I will usually default to whatever the original audio is but sometimes the Engish audio is fine. I just usually find English audio to sound overdone... Japanese audio tends to sounds more natural to me.

That's what I mean, I prefer japanese audio in most cases since in allot of rpg games the english voice acting is pretty bad and not natural.

I'm not a hardcore original audio fan but if the english audio is bad I prefer the japanese voice acting.

Sworddude:
I think you can only change one at a time, you could best fill that in when you add it to your collection

done with adding stuff finally don't have that many games but I do only collect games that I like in the end I might have a decent amount of games

I must say that this database is pretty handy also to add stuff.

Welcome, Sworddude! Others will tell you that I'm fabulous and glamorous. They're partially right. I'm also modest.

Cool avatar. Marth has always been my go-to character in Smash.

also my fav go to character in the smash series.
