Matt i love the idea of the shelf view but with it should come an option of how many youd like to display per page and maybe add little icons for game/item, case, manuel, and complete. to allow you to check the status of the items in a collection at a glance.

Can reimbusment isnt really all that special. You have to deposit the 5 cents per can when you buy it and you just get it back when you return the can to a place that accepts them, otherwise your out that 5 cents.

GF78 may I make a suggestion? If you go out to your local bars they will usually let you take their cans. the exception is usually a heavy recycling area or a place where you can sell cans for the 5 or 10 cent deposit. My dad is friends with a guy that bought a brand new pickup back in 05 by doing that at all the local bars and taking the cans that had the deposit up to michigan where it was 10 Cents a can.

here is a link to a youtube video showing it could be a real pal system.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LkS0TMRVzs
unfortunately its not a very good vid as it does not show the systems playing, but the clear plastic triangle of the ebay listing as showed in the video matches up.

Hardware and Tech / Sega game gear
« on: February 17, 2015, 01:50:43 pm »
Hello everyone i have had a Game Gear for a long time now but its hasnt been able to turn on in about 3 years now. I read that the issue its experiencing is the corrosion of the capacitors and every capacitor would need replacing but i have been unable to find a list of all necisary compoonents anywhere. can someone post a list of all capacitors with store locations to find them or someplace that may offer an all in one replacement kit, Or would it just be more cost effective if i went out and bought another game gear?

I have no soldering experience but my brother has extensive experience with it and said he will fix it free if i am able to find all the components.

Thank you in advance!!

Do you live in a dry climate? Do you usually get shocked by static electricity?
You may just need to run a humidifier to get rid of the static in the air.
