Stalker Entertainment, developer of “Wolfenstein 3D” for Game Boy Advance. Also, their name/logo appears on the box. Unfortunately, this was their only game development.

I thought it might be [CA] release or something but I can't tell. SilverBow tends to be pretty thorough when submitting/editing. The description field on the original needs to die in a fire though.  :P
Waiting for mod approval of title change for https://vgcollect.com/item/15945 which is a Canadian release. The US release has English-only text. It will be obvious only when edits are approved.

I’ve done a lot of searching, and there doesn’t seem to be a publishing company nor a developer named TDK Interactive. I think it was a misreading of “TDK Mediactive“ by some people in the past. Please remove TDK Interactive from the Developer and Publisher lists.

Site Feedback / Re: My Genre Primer for Some Folks
« on: March 21, 2019, 02:35:40 pm »
A game with a customizable hero and and emphasis on completing quests and having a party does not really describe an RPG very well (at least the way people understand RPG video games these days).

More to point, I'd have to say that an RPG has a heavy emphasis on numerical stats, and the game mechanics revolve around these one way or another.

These definitions were intended to be simplified generalizations for Newbies. The key word was “customizable”, where as a minimum, the player can usually choose what to equip for example. By the way, where does that definition require “having a party“? What other genre has a main focus of a customizable hero?
