I like sports, but I don’t really care for any kind of sports games. I can see why some people do, but it’s just not for me.

In my experience, 99% of the damaged packages that I deliver are due to improper packaging. Sounds like someone else’s package wasn’t up to snuff and it affected yours, it happens all the time. They likely repacked yours and sent it out. Not necessarily their fault, certainly not yours either. It’s just an imperfect system.

Apparently the special edition for Metroid Dread, as well as the amiibos are already sold out, according to the dude at GameStop. That was quick.

Regarding Axiom Verge 2, from what gather it will be a timed exclusive for pc through Epic Games. Whether or not, it will be available on pc through other means after the timed exclusive period isn’t clear, but it’s getting both digital and physical releases on Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Modern Video Games / Re: E3 2021

Metroid Dread was the highlight of the entirety of E3. I also may pick up Life is Strange, dashv has been trying to get me to play it for a while now, so I might give in now that it’s going to be on the Switch. I’m a little disappointed that there isn’t much more for Legend of Zelda’s 35th anniversary, but I’ll get over it. I’m also bummed because I thought that someone, somewhere, would say something about LEGO Star Wars. I’ve had it preordered and fully paid off for about a year now. I’m feeling like I gave GameStop a $60 interest-free loan for no reason. Maybe I’ll see if I can just move it to Metroid, since that will actually come out soon.  Limited Run has some fun stuff coming too, I’m sure I’ll wind up picking up a few.

It was a preorder from Strictly Limited Games in Germany (I think) that was originally supposed to ship at the end of last year, but it kept getting pushed back due to COVID.
