I could easily make a list with a hundred entries or so, but to keep things as short as possible, I tried to include here only the first 25 animated series that came to my mind.
In alphabetical order:

The Adventures of Tintin
The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers
Babar
BraveStarr
Centurions: Power Xtreme
Defenders of the Earth
Dennis the Menace
Denver, the Last Dinosaur
Dinosaucers
DuckTales
Dungeons & Dragons
The Get Along Gang
Inspector Gadget
Jonny Quest
M.A.S.K
Monica's Gang
Muppet Babies
Pole Position
Saint Seiya
SilverHawks
Super Dimension Fortress Macross
ThunderCats
Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light
Wildfire
Woody Woodpecker

Modern Video Games / Re: What are your fave games of this gen?
« on: February 23, 2019, 11:26:35 am »
Not counting remasters and re-releases, I'd say:

Spider-Man
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Sonic Mania Plus

I was going to add Destiny to the list, but since it was also released for last-gen hardware, I took it out. But I really loved the game up to the release of the House of Wolves expansion.

Well, my birthday IS in late March, but since I've already treated myself with a Collector's Edition of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unkown, the only "new" game I see myselft picking up in the near future is the Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) trilogy...

Modern Video Games / Re: Are you excited for Days Gone or nah?

For me, Days Gone has probably been one of the biggest nah I've ever felt in gaming.
I am so tired of these games that look all the same...
C'mon, people! Give me something other than Zombie/Medieval/FPS/Open World games!

And this is why I avoided the Xbox One.  Its offered almost nothing of substance to me in its entire lifespan and what things might've interested me were either just okay or turned out be bad, with the one exception being Sunset Overdrive, but I don't think I would've appreciated it as much 4 years ago.  PS4 on the other hand has been amazing.

Overall, the Xone has offered much less than the Wii U did. And this is coming from an assumed Nintendo hater...

And here is this topic again... Haha
(Don't get me wrong, this is one of my favorite subjects)

I really love the soundtracks of the Sunsoft Batman games. Especially the PC-Engine version...

The most I ever paid for a video game was probably The King of Fighter's '98 for the Neo Geo AES. I bought a mint copy of it for the equivalent to around US$160,00 and, right now, I am seriously considering to get the original Metal Gear for my MSX2 for the equivalent of around US$200,00...

I usually don't pay so much for a video game. There are much rarer games than the ones I've just mentioned above, and that I could get for around the same price (or even cheaper). For example, I'd love to own a copy of Akumajo Dracula X: Rondo of Blood for the PC-Engine, but for me, the most important thing to take into consideration when spending a lot of money with something is how important that thing is to me personally.

I know Rondo of Blood (for example) is much rarer and more sought after than KoF '98, but I spent so much time playing that game on the arcade and on my old PS1 that I would be willing to spend even more money if needed to have it on my collection...

There as many ways of collecting as there are collectors, so, at the end of the day, it's all up to you!

I really love movies!
I definitely spend more time watching movies than playing video games, but nevertheless, I don't have any enjoyment in collecting the former...
Maybe it's because older or classic movies are more easily accessible through legal mediums (not that I really care about things being legal or not, it's just because I usually don't have the patience to go through the other way around...) than retro games, or maybe its because I would usually replay a game much more often than I would rewatch a movie... I don't know...
Also, used DVDs around here tend to be much more expensive than used games...

I often buy Laser Discs of movies that are hard to find through other means, though. The quality is in pairs with that of DVDs and the prices are usually in the mark of ¥54 (US$0,50).

General / Re: Do You Ever Get Tired Of Facing Bosses At The End Of Game?
« on: February 10, 2019, 07:57:45 pm »
For me, it really depends on how expectation was built up leading towards the fight.

Having the final bout™️ with Liquid Ocelot at the top of Arsenal Gear after dozens of hours of gameplay (and cutscenes) in the whole series at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4 really felt exhausting, but cathartic at the same time.

On the other hand, while I remember loving to play Uncharted 2, I hated the final brawl with the bullet sponge that was that final guy (about whom I couldn't care less)...

I know everyone says PlayStation is better but the battery life of the controller has drove me up the wall this gen. It dies before I can conclude a single gaming session.
Sounds like you really need to get a new controller then.

...or shorter gaming sessions.

Modern Video Games / Re: Your Opinions On Wired Or Wireless Controllers
« on: February 10, 2019, 07:41:00 pm »
I, on the other hand, really love wireless controllers. As someone who has over 25 consoles always hooked up, I dream of a world in which cables will be a thing of the past...
(Actually, the necessity of cables was my biggest disappointment with the Neo Geo Mini...)
I know that many people feel the PS4 controler's battery to be short-lived, but at least for me (who almost never plays continualy for more than a couple of hours) they last long enough.

However, I will take a wired controller over one powered by AA batteries anyday!
(I'm looking at you, Xbox 360 and Wii)

Marketplace / Re: WANTED: Panzer Dragoon Saga (CIB), Sega Saturn
« on: February 10, 2019, 12:56:29 pm »
I used to have a Japanese copy of Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG and tried using a combo of Let's Play footage of the US version and also a full script of what the characters say during cutscenes. It essentially took me forever to progress this way and I didn't find it enjoyable at all since it really cuts up the pacing of the game when you have to research what a single line in the menu options means for 10-minutes.

Haha!
Welcome to my world. ;D
You just described exactly how was the experience of playing EVERY SINGLE GAME released in the 1990's and 2000's in our """modded""" PS1s and PS2s down in South America...
Imagine how it was to play Final Fantasy VIII or Silent Hill without understanding a word of English! ;D

I think the first game I played while having some reasonable degree of knowledge on the English language was probably Metal Gear Solid 3 back in 2004...
And even so, at that time, I used to think the lyrics for the game's main theme was saying:
"I'm still in a treeeeeee... Snake Eater!"
Hahahaha!
