Hm, that's a solid point about having to turn the consoles on manually.

I'm looking for:
4 Svideo
3 Component
1 composite

and 5 HDMI.

But I will probably get a separate switcher for HDMI.

Marketplace / Guitar Hero/Rock Band Guitar Controllers = Really expensive
« on: December 02, 2013, 09:51:19 pm »
So, no one is playing rock band/guitar hero anymore, right?

Harmonix stopped making DLC for the game in February, and aren't making any new IP for the franchise.

So why the heck are all of the hardware controllers still stupid expensive?  I mean, shouldn't we be swimming in controllers that people are tired of cluttering up their respective living rooms?  On amazon/ebay/craigslist most controllers (I was only looking for X360) are upwards of $50-$60.  Bundles are all EASILY over $100.

I've had some friends interested in playing again, but some of my guitar controllers are a little worse for wear, but I'm certainly not going to drop big bucks on it.

What's the deal?

What switchers are you using?

I'm looking for a decent one with lots of inputs, that has IR control, so it can be universal remote'd.

Any suggestions?

And/or, should I not bother with the IR control.

What was the game kind of like punisher, but one of the playable characters was a baby in a mech suit?

P.S. Are we still going?  Can we?  I'd love to....

I really liked Lucky and Wild.  I don't know if it was my timing or what, but it seemed like it was in arcades for a really short time, then gone.

Werent all the other top lists 100?

Many of them were, but there was a 50 or two, and a few 100's we were stretching on.  I figured start with 50, and if we keep going, so be it!

Hey all!

I was putting together a Mame cabinet, and realized I don't think we ever did a "Top" Arcade games.  I'm hoping to see some forgotten gems in the list!  If we already did this, slap me, and direct me.  In that order.

1.)  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I loved that you didn't really get to CHOOSE your character per se, it was just whatever was open.

Been playing with my ps4 for the last 6 hours or so!  I only have BF4, and the servers were GODAWFUL until about 2am.

So, it's pretty much exactly what I expected.  It certainly looks better, that's for sure.  I notice it most in particulate effects, bits of buildings exploding, etc.  Plus, I imagine that Dice probably didn't change much between the ps3/ps4 versions.  That being said, it is probably the least noticeable difference between console generations.

I downloaded the two free games for PS+, but haven't had a chance to play those yet.

42
I honestly haven't played it since probably the year of it's release, but I remember wanting to enjoy it, and being intrigued by the novelty of it, but I think I was put off by the difficulty.  I should give it another shot.

244.96!  Woot!  That was way higher than I expected!  It's also going to the PS4 purchase, so that's awesome.

44
Wow, yes to pretty much everything in this thread. I never REALLY wanted a power wheels, but my mom told me I could never have one, because she was afraid I'd drive it down a flight of stairs.  So that made me want one all the more.

For me it was probably a Neo-Geo.  I would always see it in magazines, assuming that the insane price for console and games would mean that each title would be life changing.

I only ever played the first one, but I really enjoyed it.  Neat mechanics, awesome music.  Good stuff.
