Site Feedback / Current Finished Games List Issue...
« on: December 03, 2021, 02:41:49 pm »
When I click on any page number in the finished games section, I'm redirected to my collection... I can't see the rest of my list.

Just thought I'd bring it to the attention of whom it may concern, not trying to come off as a smart alek.

Hope to see it resolved soon! I'm really glad it was implemented!

Lame to do with recent games, especially AAA games. If it's anything before gen 8 I honestly don't mind. I emulate wii games on my computer and have homebrew for the Wii, gamecube, and DS. When the technology is new it's actually harming the companies, but Nintendo isn't going to see a cent of a $200 Pokemon HeartGold DS cartridge sold at Gamestop. Go ahead and emulate it in a way higher resolution and a higher framerate.

Still applies to crap like NSO. We already bought all those games probably physically AND on the wii's virtual console. Between a physical copy, virtual console and 3D all stars you've spent $100 on the same game of Mario 64...

When Nintendo does sleezy stuff like this, I have no problem emulating, or better yet, running the unofficial PC Port of Super Mario 64 with ray tracing. They can pry the port from my cold dead hands.

Looking forward to the potential OOT PC port! It's all decompiled!

Just because a thought pops into your head, doesn't necessarily mean that it's worthy of being shared.

Amid Evil
Dread Templar
Dead by Daylight (Epic Games)
While True: Learn()
Blasphemous

When it comes out in a week (coincidentally on payday), I'm gonna buy the Terminator Resistance: Annihilation Line DLC and play through that. The game is kind of mid-shelf gaming but the base game was cheap and I had fun with it, plus it's the only good thing to come out of the Terminator Franchise in the last 10 years (at least).

Everyone snagged most of the one's I'd recommend besides Touhou Luna Nights. Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth (also made by PLAYISM) is a great one as well.

I am counting down the days left until Record of Lodoss War releases on consoles. Looks a lot like the Castlevania games and I'm a fan of the source material.

I unfortunately never got into the RoLW series source material, but the game is a blast. I got it early access from way back and the game is now a very polished product featuring extras like a Bestiary and other goodies to unlock. Some people have even compared Deedlit to Alucard. Overall, it's a blast, and I hope you'll enjoy it! If you haven't played Touhou Luna Nights, I recommend that too. It's like Castlevania's timestop but you have it from the get-go and the way Playism makes use of the timestop mechanics is incredible.

Hardware and Tech / Re: JP Nintendo 64 on a NA TV's?

It's fine, in fact I speedran the JP version of Mario 64 with no issues whatsoever. N64 region lock are physical plastic tabs, nothing to do with software on any level.

...because whoever did will probably see this, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for updating all of the info on the JP Limited Edition Asura's Wrath, I didn't really find much online and it was cool seeing all that info catalogued. So thanks for contributing where I couldn't!

I guess I could still turn this into a slight question. Have you guys had any games in particular that were a pain to enter into the system? (note, I'm not implying the system was faulty, more so the nature of a game.)

Favorite console?.... Probably PS2 box art. Sony stuck with black all around and I love the look.

Favorite game art?

Aria of Sorrow
Asura's Wrath Limited Edition
DOOM Eternal steelbook
Japanese Mario 64
JP Ocarina of Time

Currently on the way and arriving on the 15th, I ordered the japanese limited edition of Asura's Wrath!

I also snagged Castlevania Advance collection, Jojo Eyes of Heaven + DLC which is on sale for $11 right now! Copped a couple Humongous Entertainment games as well (Spy fox and Freddi fish).

Slowly but surely building my collection!

The Mummy Demastered by Way Forward (Shantae and DuckTales Remastered developer).

Just started playing this one last night. It's like Super Metroid meets Castlevania, and it's fantastic!

What I mean by that is the gameplay is totally Super Metroid, but the enemies and environments are totally Castlevania.

And that awesome 80s-style Synthwave soundtrack. So cool sounding. Sounds like something from Dynatron or Kavinsky.

I'm playing it on Xbox One. Also on PS4, Steam, and Switch.

Check this one out, guys. Very cool.

I'll have to check this one out, it looks good!
