Site Feedback / Extra Option requested for "Release Type"

Hi,

I wanted to suggest (and request) an extra option for when adding a new game to the database. When selecting a "release type", would it be possible to add an extra option for games that are listed as "Early Access"? In many cases a game can stay in early access for years. Once it has been upgraded to a full, official release, then it & the date could be changed.

Hi,

I've just placed an order for the Steam Deck Dock or Docking Station (made by Valve).

If I were to have this entered into the database (assuming it hasn't already), where should it be listed? Would this go under Hardware & then Accessory? or would it go under PC & then under Accessory?

Site Feedback / Adding Origin to the PC Database

Hi,

So I have started delving into PC gaming & while I had a small amount of titles on Steam (before recently buying up several titles in the last month), I started exploring other PC gaming sites. I just started in with Galaxy of Games (GOG.com). Being that I have played games on consoles for sooooo many years since the days of the Atari 2600, I feel like I have missed out on what PC games have to offer. Now that I've started messing with PC games, now I have an even bigger backlog of games that I have to play. I still have many physical PS1, PS2, & PS4 titles that I haven't played. That's not counting the many PSN digital games. Now I have to add Steam & GOG to that list as well. So many games & so little time to play them all.

I also have stumbled onto Origin. Is it possible to get Origin added as a category under the PC games section?

While I have bought a few titles on Steam (like The Sims 4, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, & Burnout Paradise Remastered) that require you to start an Origin account, there are some titles on there that Steam or GOG doesn't feature. One of which is Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection (which features all 17 Command & Conquer titles). On Steam, I bought Command & Conquer: Remastered Collection, but it doesn't have the other games in the series such as Red Alert 2, Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge, Generals, Renegade, Etc. The only way to play those digitally is to get it from Origin.

Site Feedback / Issue with Adding New Games

Hi,

Earlier I was attempting to add a new game to the PS4 (NA) section, but after I entered everything in, it just produced a blank list of N/A's. I thought maybe that my login had timed out, so I logged back in again just to make sure, we to reenter the item & still got the same result. Am I doing something wrong?

Video Game Database Discussion / Mobile Gaming Accessories

Hi,

I wanted to ask is there a sections for cell phone gaming accessories? I recently purchased a Gamesir X2 Type-C (2021) Mobile Gaming Controller. It is designed to hold your phone & allow easier control of games on your cell phone.

Is there a section dedicated to these type of accessories?

Site Feedback / Problem with adding new games

Hi,

I was attempting to add a new game to the Playstation (NA) database. When I finished & hit submit, my computer sat there for several minutes. I hit submit once again & the same thing happened. I went back to reenter the data once more from scratch & got the same result.

When I came back to the home page I noticed that had listed three blank new entries. I even tried to edit one of them, but all it did was take me back to the blank entry. Those blank entries can be found here:

Modern Video Games / What older games would you like to see a re-release of?

In this day & age, of remakes, reboots, & re-releases I got to thinking what physical releases I would be willing to pay my hard earned money for. I'm a sucker for a nostalgia trip. I've bought re-released games & compilations like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2, Q-Bert Rebooted, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

Since Bethesda came out with a re-release of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim & Dishonored, I would love to get a re-released version of Fallout 3 & Fallout: New Vegas.

I like how the gameplay mechanics of Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, & Fallout 4 are similar to Skyrim. I like being able to switch between First Person & Third Person modes. I like being able to gather weapons, armor, junk, & health items from enemies or various stashes. The Fallout & Elder Scroll games can keep me occupied for hours on end.

What your thoughts?

Video Game Database Discussion / Question about DLC being featured as part of a collection

Hi,

I noticed that in the PSN - PS4 N/A database, the DLC releases for Fallout 4 are listed as regular games. I think they are great additions to have with the Fallout 4 game, but do they need to be listed as part of a collection as if they were stand-alone games? Isn't that what purchasing Fallout 4: GOTY Edition (or any other special Fallout 4 collection) is supposed to get you?

Video Game Database Discussion / Question about Developers & Publishers

Hi,

I was curious to know, how does one go about adding a developer or publisher that isn't listed? I was attempting to edit Nascar Heat 3 for PS4 & noticed that the publisher 704 Games isn't listed.

Hi,

I've had my collection featured on this site for about a year or two now. I just now figured out how to take screen shots on my laptop.

I was curious in addition to being able to take pictures of the front cover art, rear cover art, & the actual disc or cartridge, would it be possible to add a gallery where one could add pics of game play?

I think this would go a long way in helping people decide if they would like to add a particular game to their collection.

What are your thoughts on that?

Hi,

I was wondering is it possible to contribute pictures to the site to use in the database? I saw where you can take pics of your collection, but wondered if you can do more than that. I have a large library of PS2 games (over 500+). I noticed some of the games featured, don't have pics of the discs. Is it possible to add those? (Provided they fall in line with the rules of course.)
