Picked up Fifa 19 on Xbox 360, (for me) completing my NA collection. A purist wouldn't count it since I bought the region free PAL version, but it was 1/2 the price of the much tougher to find NTSC version. Still plays on my 360, so it's good enough for me.

I live in north central Arkansas. It’s cheap to live here. Bad cheap. The only thing that is expensive is land. I’m trying to find a small piece of land and build a house, but it’s damn near impossible to find anything at a price I’m willing to pay.

The downside is wages are trash here. There’s not a whole lot of money to be made.
My Uncle and his wife lived in good old Arkansas in the mid 2000s. He's sort of an off-the-grid kind of guy so he built his own house and everything and had a good ten acres of land. He started building houses from start to finish for folks all over the country so he left Arkansas and moved to Virginia where the rest of my family is to be his hub. I visited him once as a kid and I liked it, it was nice to get away from the melting pot that is Colorado.  I think he sold the land and the house, but he didn't get too much for it. Why is land so expensive now?

"Saudi Aurora" -care to elaborate?

Also, curious what you mean when you say it's good to get away from the melting pot that is Colorado.
"Saudi Aurora" ha, well, to the southeast of Denver there is a quaint little town called Aurora. It actually can be quite nice in some spots but it's also the area where the shadiest portion of Colfax avenue runs through. It can be quite the contrast from the niceties of Denver itself, especially in recent times. Basically, a spot I have no interest in living or visiting unless absolutely necessary.

I think melting pot is the wrong term, I just feel like Colorado as a whole is losing its identity with all of the imports from California and other places. Walking through Boulder is like seeing a Reddit thread play out in real life. A lot of the more quiet areas and quaint portions of the metro area have evolved into these massive shopping centers, unaffordable mansions that are three feet apart and have no yards... There's just a general posh feel to Colorado. Like it's becoming Silicon Valley with none of the innovation, just a bunch of smarmy know-it-alls. If you don't make six figures a year and don't have property, you essentially have no value or buying power in the real estate market. Me, I like the quiet life, so I love going to the mountains and hiking and skiing (which is now becoming too expensive for your everyman to do). I've just seen it evolve into this place I don't like, and a lot of the things I remember loving about it from my childhood are going away.

Ah gotcha. I'm just a couple hours from Colorado but haven't been there since the 80's. Huge Rockies fan though :) I think most people know Aurora because of James Holmes :/

1992-2010, wasn't into gaming at all. Someone gave me a free dreamcast with games around 2001, and I did play it a little....really just played shadowman and timestalkers. I was into college, hanging out and being social for 18 years. Enough of that! LOL.

Edit: Clarifying- not 18 years of college, that was just the 1st few of the 18 ;)

Not something I would do, but they look great. I have some PC games that came with codes only inside the case, and cuphead on XB1...so I have collected a few empty cases.

Ironically, it's not the PC people that are upset at gilette, it's all the anti-pc'ers. Sean Hassity is calling for a boycott. Poor baby.

I don't know much about the Satansit stuff, but if you believe they are really "hurt' over Christmas or santa or whatever, I don't envy your intellectual skills. They are likely showing how absurd the whole "we can finally say Christmas again" agenda crap is.

Anyway, the world is changing. You don't adapt, you go extinct.

Another hard rock music band that not too many people talk about that is also great in my opinion the band is called "Great White" They did a few Led Zeppelin band cover songs, but not all their songs are covered I believe , a good album to watch for is Great White's "Psycho City" album

Great White's ..Twice Shy album also has some good songs on it too. I also have Great White's "Hooked" album and didn't even realize  that until writing this post I still haven't heard much of it though

I collect most punk vinyl, got a few test pressings. most of The Templars.

Hmm I never heard of "The Templars" what band can you compare "The Templars" with?

If you go to Warwick, RI, you may meet people who like to talk about "Great White"

I am not trying to sound like a troll and
I personally don't know the answer but, I would also not have gotten the PlayStation 4 version or Xbox One version. and instead have gotten the 2 PlayStation 2 Atari compilations instead because I know they also have a ton of games on both of them, and plus I am sure that I can keep the PlayStation 2 version and play it as long as I have a working PlayStation 2. It is sadly entering the PlayStation 3's and PlayStation 4 online lifeline. Given that their may be a PlayStation 5 soon, but I am not sure

If you don't already have them or know what they are, one is called "Atari Anthology" that other "Activision Anthology" In my opinion if you do already own both then you I think you wasted your money on something you have already.

Strange answer, has nothing to do with the question. You can still play games on PS3 and PS4 as long as you have a working system. PS4 isn't nearing the end of anything BTW.

Was I hacked? how do I progress in a game that is now impossible to beat. I got the skill but I am stuck without an object needed to progress. after all the work I did in the other missions in which is even hard for me on easy. Am I missing something? their is no airships all of them were occupied then destroyed on my save file. And I am pissed because someone probably pulled a prank on me through the WIFI. and is likely to do the same again if I start over again.

Man, if you are really as paranoid as you seem to be about any glitch, etc being from hackers out to get you- maybe just play offline? Halo CE is single player only so there is no need to be connected to wifi.

My main goal is to finish up my NA 360 unique games collection. I'm down to one, but it's not even in the database.

Just Dance 2019 I'm assuming? They even made a Wii release of that game.

I'm actually just getting back into working on my 360 collection myself, as recently my overall collecting focus has mainly been centered around Board games, Lego sets, and Nendoroids.

No, I did pick up JD 2019, but yeah it's not here either, lol. The one game I'm missing is Fifa 19. it was released in Mexico, but not the US.

« on: November 04, 2018, 07:22:14 pm »
Man, I can relate. Until I moved 15 years ago, I was super social. Going out with friends a couple times a week...friends were at my house every weekend. I had a ton of friends, and making friends was easy enough. As soon as I moved it just stopped. I'm friendly with people, get along well with coworkers and such, but I haven't made any real friends either. I NEVER have company anymore. It's like....I just lost the ability to make friends overnight...It was really hard to adjust to at 1st, but I'm pretty used to it now. FYI I was right about to turn 30 when I moved.

Edit: I actually got into video games because of my newly found lamenesse. ( I had been into games pretty good until I graduated HS- so it wasn't totally new) I moved in 2003 and got my Xbox 360 a bit over 7 years later....so gaming wasn't the reason for me either- I gave it plenty of time. Might be why I care less now though, LOL

About 20 years ago, I took my record collection over to a good friends house, he had a DJ gig and wanted to see what I had (Lots of 80's stuff) He was looking to buy some as well, for said DJ'ing. One day he just up and left. He had met a girl and they ran away together....with my record collection. He did touch base with me several years later through Myspace. When I asked if he still had my records....he ceased all communication.
