Modern Video Games / Vita Fat or Slim?

So I'm thinking about getting a Vita with some extra tax return money... Should I try to get one of the current Fat models or should I hold out for the new slim? From what I hear the current model has a better screen but the slim has a better battery life. are there any other differences? Anyone have an opinion on the subject?

My copy of "The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Slipcased Edition" just came in. The thing is glorious!!! if you are a fan of Final Fantasy or just like awesome art you should order this right now!!!

A buddy of mine ordered this. He told me the damn thing is 11 pounds.

I'm the guy that has to lug around this thing across the border...

Its pretty heavy; I ordered it back when Amazon had it on sale for like $17 but it was out of stock. I Completely forgot about it and then a package showed up at my door, which I was expecting that day cause Conception 2 had shipped. The box was huge and marked heavy... needless to say I was confused. I was pleasantly surprised to see it when i opened the box up. Words really cant dont do it justice. I'm not normally one to buy art books but this thing is amazing!!!

I live in Delaware and the retro market here is kinda non existent. I'll pay FMV for game if I really want it and know I'm going to have a hard time finding in the wild. Which for me is a lot of games since I'm a JRPG fanatic... at the same time though I refuse to pay more the $30 for a retro game so it looks like theres a long list of games I will never own...
