General / Goodwill prices.
« on: February 27, 2014, 05:24:16 pm »
I've been buying games at my local goodwill for a few years now; and their pricing had always been $1 for CD based games and $3 for DVD based games. Today I walk in and everything is $5. I asked the manager if it was a price mistake and they told me that the games had gone up and that's the price now. I had like 8 games in my hand ready to buy, but I just set them on the counter and walked out. I was a little irked by the price spike. Goodwill has been my main source of ps1/ps2 games for a little while and now I don't know what I'm going to do..... It's a sad day.

Are they harder to find figures? I should be able to swing the $20. Im just still new to the game and I'm not sure what to look out for, if you think those leave the store quickly maybe I should snap them up!

Oh i didnt know you picked them up just for me. damn now i feel bad, I already have the series 1 trigger happy, is there anything different about this one in game, or is it just a different figure pose? If its different I might be able to dip into next months budget a little early.

I got too excited and just picked the rest of the figures I needed from amazon... grabbed Dino-Rang, Stealth Elf, and Hex. The only question now is should I be embarrassed that I'm enjoying a kids game so damn much lol.

So i started playing Spyros Adventure and need just a few more figures to have all the elements. I'm looking for at least one figure for Life, Earth, and Undead. I would prefer them to be complete with card and barcode, new in box would be even better! Needs to be compatible with spyros adventure. Thanks!!

I know it sounds like a broken record but you also need to play Ni no Kuni if you like Bravely Default.

I have it, I just haven't gotten around to playing it. My wife pretty much has control of the TV/PS3; between Rocksmith and the "Real housewives of who the fuck cares" I'm kind of stuck gaming on my 3ds. Not that its a bad thing. I'm really starting to think the 3DS is the best handheld ever!!!!

I grew up in the golden age of JRPGs, and I have been looking for a current gen title that made me feel like I did when I was a kid playing through phantasy star, final fantasy, and dragon warrior. This game is the first game since Final Fantasy X that I have been truly engrossed in. I can see myself putting countless hours into this game, and I cant wait to do it.

I just started this today and after about an hour I can tell you I'm hooked. This has to be the most gorgeous game on the 3DS ever. If you own a 3DS but don't own this game, you need to get it. If you don't own a 3DS, GO GET ONE!!!

My copy of Bravely Default CE came in today and its glorious! I can't wait to start it. I also received Lightning Returns, The ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, and God of War Origins Collection. All for PS3
