Got a couple things I've been wanting plus a bonus game to try out.

PS1
Soul Blade

Nintendo Switch
Pokémon Rescue Dungeon: Rescue Team DX

Amiibo
BotW: Revali
BotW: Mipha

Small update.

I cleaned up the disc and tried to run it. It got to main screen and then allowed me to "start" a new game. I say "start" since hitting New Game only allows me to see the level select screen. If I try and pick a level it tells me to insert disc 1. redblaze57 was correct. I'd like to know how much of the game is split up between the two discs though... Hopefully, I can find disc 1 online somewhere for a good price.

Duplicate Yooka-Laylee entries.

This entry https://vgcollect.com/item/179271 is a duplicate of this one https://vgcollect.com/item/128271.

I recently received a few GC games from my fiance's family and have been going through them to see what all is there and complete. One of the games I got was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus, which was unfortunately missing the first disc. I've tried looking up what the difference in content between the discs was but I can't seem to find an answer.

Does anyone know what is on disc 1 of the game VS disc 2?

I'm a little confused now that I've received yet another package from who I believe is my original Santa, now I'm unsure if any of the previous packages that I got were from my original Santa or not. In this one I got Ghoul School - an NES obscurity that I've been eyes for a few years now. Thanks everyone!

I wanted to include an extra NYE gift as a thank you for being putting up with a certain Secret Santa *hand raised* not having the best communication on shipping things out. I hope you had a great holiday!

Merry Christmas! I really appreciate these great games from my Secret Santa. Thank you!

I've been excited about it, but I also don't follow the controversy much. There have been some features and pokemon that seem interesting to me and I enjoy that it'll be on the Switch (not a huge fan of the 3DS screen). It stinks that you won't be able to "Catch 'em All" but I'm hoping that the new pokemon and mechanics added will be enough to keep me engaged and interested.

Just sent my wishlist. I'm really excited to be apart of this! Second time doing a Secret Santa. The first was back in 2014 over at NintendoAge.

Day-to-day I might spend some money at a second-hand store to pick up an interesting record or VHS. I'll also take my girlfriend out on dates or local shops to get something for the house.

Throughout the year I also like to go on trips out of state. I'm trying to visit all 50 by the time I'm 50 so I've been going to 2, sometimes 3 different places a year for the last 3 years.

It's not on my wishlist per se, but I'm still interested in checking out the Wonder Swan Crystal.

Ditto. I haven't really looked up the hardware or its library very much but the design and its general existence as a gaming device I've never remotely experienced IRL has me intrigued. I'll have to do more research into it sometime.

I have a TurboGrafx-16, but zero games. They’re just too high.

I’ve got the mini preordered. I’m really pumped for that.

Same as far as games. I've only been able to find Keith Courage in the shops around me lol. I once went into a shop to ask about Turbo games and the guy said he had them but wasn't going to sell them locally, only online since he could make more...

I usually don't have a specific game I go out to try and find anymore. If I go looking locally for games or other media, I'm usually going out for the experience of going out and seeing new things or talking to new people. I also like talking to the same few people who run the game shops around me since they're generally cool people have a quick chat with.

That being said, if I am looking for a specific game that I know I'll never find around me (international release or limited/rare), then I'll put a saved search into eBay with the price I'm willing to pay and wait until I get a notification. I'll usually only get a notification on these once every few months so it keeps that excitement of not knowing when that deal will come back up and if it will stay in that price range. I've had one really good success so far using this method and it didn't feel like I was getting scammed on price in the process.

Is there any console, or consoles, that you have wanted to pick up for a while but for whatever reason you haven't? If so, what is the reason?

I've personally been wanting to pick up the WiiU since the beginning of the year. I was into different things when it launched but with decreasing price in both the games and console itself I've been tempted to get it. I'm just not ready to sink the money into another console until I'm able to properly set it up in its own space.

It's a hard, rectangular shape all around with no notable wires or bumps that I can feel. I don't hear anything when I shake it and you generally have to make pretty good contact with the box inside to have it activate.

It would be irresponsible for a company to make an electronic toy with a battery that cannot easily be replaced.

I watched some unboxing videos. This one the toy doesn't work.

around 3:00

Unless that is you...
The other unboxing video I found, they don't open the packaging.

However... I find another video: https://youtu.be/eJ8Mse4Ym5s
where they hit him against a surface. It may be one of those impact activated toys. There is one in my office that Intel had sent of a monkey. If you squeeze it, it won't do anything but if you throw it on the floor or whatever, then it makes a sound. If it is this type, and like the Intel one, then the mechanism may wear down over time and less force can be applied to make the sound work.

Thank you for this reply! I saw a video of an unboxing at the same time as your comment and sure enough, I smacked it and there was sound lol. I wasn't expecting it to be impact activated since I just assumed it would be a squeeze plush like most seem to be. I do wish that it had the ability to be opened easily so the battery could be replaced... but I'll cross that road when it comes.

Here is a pic of the guy in question:

It looks and feels like one of those... Except for this is sewn shut and doesn't have a velcro/zipper opening like I'd expect. I'd open it up at a seam and take a look if I was better with a thread and needle lol. It feels like I've pressed the box inside at every angle possible.
