General / Accounting+ Big Box Edition Question
« on: October 13, 2019, 08:13:30 pm »
I just received my copy of Accounting+ in the mail and I've been looking forward to playing this release. I ended up getting the big box version and noticed that the plush figure inside doesn't speak when I try to squeeze it. Did anyone else who got this version of the game have similar issues? If not, what are your thoughts on the game if you have played it or ordered it from LRG? Thanks!

General / Record-Style Game Shelving Feedback
« on: September 09, 2019, 05:35:01 pm »
I recently saw a tweet from @TheLordReylus where he had switched from a standard game shelf display for his switch collection to one that used bins on a shelf that gives it more of flipping through records vibe. I personally find some appeal in this design and like that it adds some more space, but not sure how well it would work with other game cases. I wanted to know if anyone here has done this, and if so, what do you think of it? Do you feel this is tacky or unnecessary?

25 - Cadence of Hyrule (Switch 2019) - BEAT - Absolutely charming little game.  Was such a surprise to initially see and after picking up Crypt of the Necrodancer, I was looking forward to the game.  It has great art, great music, and while it's not overly hard and it's rather short, it doesn't feel like it's wasting any of my time or that its dragging on for too long.  It's really just a classic Zelda game, but with a rhythm based combat style.  if you are a Zelda fan, you will likely enjoy it.

Is there any hope for this game getting a physical release? It sounds like a fun experience from everything I hear but I'd rather be able to put it back on a shelf when I beat it.

Has anyone seen this? Or interested? Seems like a cool idea but not sure there are any places near me that would have this playable lol

I'm not really a Spider Man (or comic book hero) fan. Would I still enjoy it?

Maybe? The controls are smooth and the story was interesting but I may be a little biased.

I'm trying to figure out which game I should go with for my 80th platinum.

I know you don't have it in your collection, but you could try for Spider-Man. Those achievements are pretty easy.

Side-note: How is 428: Shibuya Scramble? I saw it at the store the other day but was hesitant to pick it up.

I saw this the other day: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/6c/19/37/6c1937d697d1c1dc6d38205fd322dfbb.jpg

I like the idea of doing that and if you could maybe combine the drawers of this with the concept of in-wall shelving then you could get a lot of storage potential into a small space. You, of course, wouldn't be able to display your games with this setup but if you don't care about that then this could be the way to go.

You currently aren't able to search for a general list like that but you can search for Genre if you include part of the title by going to vgcollect.com/search

There does look like it's being considered here https://vgcollect.com/forum/index.php/topic,9287.msg157139.html#msg157139 but not sure when the feature will be finished.

General / NWC cart going for sale soon
« on: March 07, 2019, 09:56:40 am »
Has anyone seen the post on r/gamecollecting about the Nintendo World Championships cart that was found while getting rid of a collection? Not sure if this interests anyone here, but I thought it was really cool. I used to be really into the NintendoAge forums (mostly lurking) so seeing this sparks something.

Is anyone interested in going for it once the OP starts the selling process? Or do you think this cart is generally overrated and this Reddit post isn't that interesting?
