Site Feedback / Re: v2 Beta bug report thread

When I try to edit an item in my collect to select if it has a case, manual, and all that stuff; none of the information changes after clicking the submit button.

I was trying to check the boxes to add the manual, case, and artwork for Marvel vs. Capcom on Dreamcast, and it didn't work.

I just browsed your collection and the checkboxes are ticked.

Any changes to your item's box / cart / etc. details don't seem to show up until you reload the page or click on another item, then back to the one you just changed.

I did reload the page, and I tried to go somewhere else and come back. So it must take a certain amount of time to show up.

Crystalis/God slayer stuff

(IE: not much, lol)

So you have Crystalis on NES, and Crystalis on Game Boy. Is there other Crystalis stuff I'm not aware of?
There's a strategy guide, isn't there?

There are also Japanese / European versions of the games (well, the NES one).

Strategy guides were more often found in Nintendo Power or Tips and Tricks Magazine back then. I'm not sure if it had a strategy guide, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't.

Strange. I've always pronounced it as Dis-Guy-a.

Of course, when saying the user name aloud I end up saying Dis-gain-iac

That was exactly how I did it, too, until I saw this post about Disgaea, then it all clicked and I realized I was saying his name wrong.

I still pick-up VHS and Cassette tapes at Goodwill, because their dirt cheap and I still have a working VCR and cassette player.

Nope, I don't play them. But I've heard them talked about by other gamers plenty.

^Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is a surprisingly good game. Congrats!

Disgaea D-2 pre-orders are now up & available at NISA's on-line store (there's the vanilla game, and 2 LE's to choose from).

I've always wondering how to pronounce your forum name, now I get it.

Yeah, they had reasons, but that doesn't mean they weren't bad. To add those reasons, not one of those consoles you have up there have a good library of games. And Atari 5200 had a terrible joystick.

I could list a lot of good games on N64. Like The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a game that is still known by a lot of people "the best game ever."
good N64 games-
Zelda OoT, Zelda Majora's mask, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye 007, Super Mario 64, Conker's bad fur day etc...

He never mentioned N64.

That Doctor Who bit is pretty badass. Actually the guy seems to have some fun stuff on his channel, I'm listening to some more :P

The guy is freaking amazing! Some truly epic guitar-work to make some classic themes 10x better.

most of the "worst consoles ever" are not all that bad, a lot of them have valid reasons for their problems

CD-I: the CD-I had bad marketing and was targeting wrong audience

atari 5200: the 5200 was rush to market and only available in the US and canada

CD32: amiga didn't do their research and because they didn't do their research they couldn't release the CD32 in the US which killed the console

Yeah, they had reasons, but that doesn't mean they weren't bad. To add those reasons, not one of those consoles you have up there have a good library of games. And Atari 5200 had a terrible joystick.
