Classic Video Games / Phantasy Star

So in the 10/10 games thread I saw someone mention Phantasy Star as one of theirs. Rather than derail the thread, I figured I'd post this here.

As someone who didn't grow up with anything Sega until I bought a Dreamcast after they were discontinued, I've had very little exposure to Phantasy Star (or Shining Force while we're at it.) Where would you start if you were coming into this new? I see there's a couple remakes/re-releases of the original four. Would you recommend them? Also, are the online versions any good? I was thinking about picking up the PSO games for the Dreamcast and maybe playing local multiplayer with my girlfriend if that's possible.

I bought a couple Dreamcast games off him and he gave me an excellent deal. Not only that, he threw in two extra games as a surprise! The packaging was really well done and the shipping was surprising quick. I actually feel bad for how good a deal I got :/.

That being said, one of the surprise games is my first Sega Saturn game so now I guess I have a reason to look for the system!

In conclusion, MJMaranan is an awesome dude and I look forward to buying more stuff from him one day.

Sold him a Super Nintendo game and was patient with me while I figured out how to ship to Canada. Was a nice guy! I will definitely deal with him again in the future .

Marketplace / Random items for sale/trade

Hey guys!

I've got some duplicates and random items up for sale or trade. I figured I'd post here before I go anywhere else so you guys get first dibs. Please read the whole post as a lot of these items don't have games or anything, just cases etc. There'll be more once I go through a couple other boxes of stuff I got, but this is what I know I'm getting rid of right now.

Resident Evil 4 - Complete.
Fire Emblem - Case only.
Super Mario All-Stars - Does not save! Haven't picked up a soldering iron to start replacing batteries yet.
Final Fantasy XII Strategy Guide - Comes with poster.
Ready to rumble boxing 2 - Disk and Manual. Manual was water damaged but is all there.
Final Fantasy Tactics - Greatest hits, complete.
Dragon Warrior - 'nough said.
Zelda Wind Waker - Case, game, and inserts. Does not have manual.
Sonic Mega Collection - Disc only.
Animal Crossing - Disc only.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Case and Manual. No Game.
Power Stone - Disc only.
Final Fantasy X-2 Strategy Guide - No poster and appears to be missing pages 3-8.
Paper Mario Thousand Year Door - Complete.
DDR Max 2 - Complete.
Katamari Damacy - Complete.
Super Smash Bros - Disc and case, though the case art is in really bad shape.
Super Smash Bros - Complete. Much better shape than other one.
