Modern Video Games / Guild Wars 2

Anyone try out the Guild Wars 2 beta weekend?  I got a beta key by trading a Steam game, not realizing that I'd be out of town for the beta weekend.  Thankfully I got home a few hours before midnight - a few hours to try out the game.

Never played the first one, but this one looks pretty good.  I didn't chat with any of the players but I did like that you could just join in on an event if you felt like it.  WoW made me feel like a huge loner during the tutorial world, and it put me off quite a bit.

Not sure if I'd get it at launch, but at least I have a better idea of what the game is like.

Hey, was just thinking about the great threads we have where we try to compile lists (reversible images, items to look out for for other collectors, etc.) and was wondering if there was any way to incorporate this into the forum better so that the OP or mod doesn't have to go back and amend their post so it includes all the new info from 13 different people.

Like a community board or embedded Google doc that anyone can edit?

This might not be ideal, but I know anyone who's a member of the site can edit it (the wiki community board):

Even better if any of your local stores have one for free pickup.  Nothing was close enough for me, so I decided to swallow the $3 shipping charge (would've been that much gas to get to any store that had it).

Got an email with a beta key for The Secret World beta weekend... I usually ignore all the MMO emails I get but I was wondering if this one should be looked into.  I saw part of the GDC video that shows how soloing works, but I don't understand how interactions work with others (there's a PvP area apparently).

Any folks have any thoughts on this title?
