Aliens vs Predator on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3:

All existing names and art fixed. Added missing entries. Left out due to missing categories: Xbox 360 Asia, KR.

It is a physical item. It does not matter that the game itself requires Steam activation or some other 3rd party service to activate or install. This is no different than say... Half Life 2.

How you want to add it in your collection is one thing, that is your choice. The database should have the item in the physical category and (likely) in the Steam category, if you can get it on Steam without buying the physical item.

Hmm then the actual container for this item would have been the shipping box.

NISA may have sold it as one item, but then sent 2 items on fulfillment. This doesn't mean we can then just pretend it is only 1 thing. They are not connected in any way besides the shipping box they came in.

It wasnt available to buy the stuff on its own, so to me, its all considered one item.

Except that the Limited Edition (the game part) is available separately.

I recently had noticed that my IRL collection does not match my collection here. I try to keep everything updated, but somehow I got out of sync. So I ran into this situation a couple weeks ago as well, but now I will have to go through the long process of double checking everything. :(

It sounds more like you pre-ordered the merchandise box and just happened to get a game, rather than the other way around. So it should be that the Grand Edition goes into merch and the Limited Edition into PS4 [NA]. Mark in the description for the merch that it also included the game, and in the desc for the game, say that it was included with Grand Edition...

It may well end up being the case that the game (as a packaged item on its own) will be available outside of this pre-order thing, as has happened in the past.

Armored Core: Last Raven Portable [NA]

This was never released in NA, correct?

Released digitally.

Edit approved for move to PSN

Duke Nukem 3D (0,50€ - no barcode on the back so i guess it's not complete) (also contains Duke it out in D.C. and Duke Caribbean: Life's a Beach)

As is usually the case, a PC game in jewel case with no barcode on the back is going to mean that it came in a box. I found a picture of what the box is going to look like (similar to front of jewel case) in this post:

The Spyro game GH is released in 2007. Don't know about an exact date. Also, I do not know if it can be confirmed, but it seems that regional versions are all released on the same date. For example, this Spyro GH would have the same release date in Canada as in the US. The same seems to be true of European release games. But I would also think that this couldn't possibly be true in all cases. When in doubt, leave it out.

Each entry will need to have qualifiers in the item name. Base qualifiers are the format type, until box variations are considered.

So the existing entry (40270) should have (CD) in its title. And the version you have should indicate the media type...
You can use these entries for Pirates! Gold as an example:
http://vgcollect.com/search/advanced/8/pirates%20gold/no-filter
Note: the 2 Win95 entries are not dupes.

But really, the PC categories need to be split up as that is too generic of a category. There are over 200 pages in PC [NA] and I would bet we have 20% (I really want to say 5%) or less of PC games in the db.

I wish it did that too. I was editing an item that has no front box art: http://vgcollect.com/item/13473 It came bundled with the Aladdin Deck Enhancer and has no box art but when I tried to use the cart as the front box image, it was denied every time. I eventually just used the title screen as the front box art as per the database guidelines, but i/'d like it better if there were no front box art (Because there isn't) and the image that showed up in the database was the item/cart.

Even that entry is wrong. It should not have a front or back box art on the entry. It should be like these 2 examples from Game Gear [JP]
Nazo Puyo: Pack-in game only, no box was made.
http://vgcollect.com/item/9046
Here is the hardware it came with:
http://vgcollect.com/item/94451

Currently, the database does not allow us to attach entries to each other. So we cannot right now make it so Nazo Puyo is a child entry of the Nazo Puyo Game Gear. So we have to deal with artwork issues like this. Where there is no "box front" or "box back" for pack-in games, or some of the other types of entries that the site has expanded to cover.
