XGIII: Extreme G Racing
Original: http://vgcollect.com/item/15190
Dupe: http://vgcollect.com/item/66601

Looking at places like Gamefaqs and IGN, XGIII: Extreme G Racing seems to be the preferred way they refer to it.

Here's the same thing on PS2
Original: http://vgcollect.com/item/2102
Dupe: http://vgcollect.com/item/103656

DONE

While looking that up, I also came across these though not sure they are dupes...

Extreme Ghostbuster
Original: http://vgcollect.com/item/76426
"Dupe": http://vgcollect.com/item/82317

It could be that the first one is for FR/NL and the "dupe" is the UK release? Maybe a little playing around with the titles or a move of the former to a different grouping?

Anyone else ever played a Mario Kart arcade cab?

I have. There's a Chuck E. Cheese nearby that has a Vs. setup with two sit-down units. I want to say the game they're running is Mario Kart GP2.

I can't remember where but we found a single unit in a Wal-Mart somewhere. The game was in need of repair though.  :-\

Found this...

I'm guessing they were going for Resident Evil of some kind? AFAIK there's no game called just "Resident".

John Romero returns with Blackroom

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nightworkgames/blackroom-a-new-fps-from-romero-and-carmack

I curiously clicked on that link and went to the page. I saw that there were 320 pledged at that point and suddenly it went to 319. I'm guessing someone decided they'd rather not commit to the spiritual successor of DaiKatana.  :P

Joking aside, I'll keep an eye on this.

Well I'm assured I won't be able to get this as I'll be at work when the second wave goes live.  :-\

I still can't understand why there's a need for this unnecessary feeding frenzy and spectacle. I would much rather they did it the way Gaijinworks / Monkey Paw did where they had people pay in / pre-order and anyone who cared to have a copy could.  ::)

Just a heads up...today is the last day to receive Jirachi from Nintendo for Pokemon X/Y/Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby. I'm guessing you have till 12AM PST to download.

Click on Mystery Gift, Select Receive from Internet and you should be good to go.  ;)

Forza Motorsport 3 (Not For Resale) (CIB) (Sealed)
Ridge Racer 6 (CIB)

Decent sized haul that wasn't too heinous on my wallet (at least not individually...collectively is another story  :o). Tom and Jerry Tales came from a local mom n' pop/arcade place near me and was $10. The Darkness II and Tom Clancy HAWX came from GameStop and were $4/$2 respectively. TRON Evolution for PC was found on clearance at a Meijer for $3. Ridge Racer 6 and KidFit came from a different GameStop and were $10/$2 respectively. I've been after Ridge Racer 6 for a while now so it was nice to finally find it.

DK: Tropical Freeze was from another GameStop. It was the original Non-Nintendo Selects packaging. I got that along with Pikmin 3 for $15 each because GS was running a Buy 2 @ 14.99 or higher and get $5 off. The Pikmin 3 I gave to my cousin for his birthday that was earlier in the week. At the same stop I also picked up the MySims: Agents for $5 and the SW Battlefront: Elite Squadron for $8. A different GS about 15 minutes away from that one had the Kamen Rider game for $5.

Hit up a couple of Flea Markets today. There's a big one and a smaller one literally across the street from each other (well across the highway) and we usually do the big one first and then sometimes hit the smaller one but reversed it today and hit the small one first because they sometimes have better outdoor vendors. That wasn't the case today as we largely struck out on the outside vendors though I did find the Forza Motorsport 3 along with four DS games, Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp, Tangled, My Horse & Me: Riding For Gold & I Love Horses (I'm guessing the little girl who owned them prior to me had a thing for horses  :P). The DS games are for my roomates' kids while the Forza is for me (honest!  :P). The lot of them cost me $4 each or $20 all together.

Inside the smaller flea was much more lucrative. I found a newer vendor there who was still setting up from the looks of it. From him I snagged the 3 Armored Core games for $3/$5/$5 and Airblade for $2. He also had a nice condition (and Non Nintendo Selects packaging) LOZ: Twilight Princess for Wii priced at $12 along with DBZ: Sagas priced at $5. He ended up giving me all six games for $20. About a half dozen booths down the hall was another video game vendor who had the Genesis Monopoly and the TRON Evolution: Battle Grids for $3 each. A different vendor had the Skylander figure for $2 and the Spyro GBA game for $4. Yet another vendor had the AvP Steelbook and Luche Libre. He had them marked at $15 and $8 but let them go for $20 together.

We then ventured across the street to the bigger flea before they closed so I could see if my usual guy had anything new. His place is where I found the Bust-A-Move 4 and DBZ: Legacy of Goku Carts along with a GunCon 3 for PS3. That lot ran me $20. Of course after I got home, I researched the GunCon to see if it could work on a flat screen TV and realized I didn't have the connectors for it so that will probably be going back along with that BAM 4 duplicate.  :-\

Another awesome gaming swap meet today. Weather was beautiful and the deals were plentiful. Definitely the highlight were the PS1 games.

Nice haul!  ;D

SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom (English AES). I'm pretty sure the total for that was $325.

The RayEarth games are listed in both English and Romanji...best to let the mods fix the entries. On the two GG JP RayEarth games, the pics on the dupes are much more pixelated/grainy.

Bravely Second was a pre-order pick-up. Project X Zone 2 was used, burned a points coupon on that. The Moco Moco Friends came down to $17.99 after a 20% off coupon + PUR discount.

I remember theflea talking about Merlin's Apprentice a little while back. We were in another city about 45 minutes away and there was this shop right off the Interstate that I remember had records at and figured we could stop by so my cousin could peruse their selection. Turns out they sell games as well so I'm scouring the glass cases of their eBay priced stuff and in the middle of a bunch of high priced stuff was that game and it was marked at only $9.99.  :)

Some of the CIB GB games came from eBay. I saw on the auction for Dexterity that the top was damaged but the seller did a good job of fixing it. What I didn't do was look too closely at the pictures for Mickey's Dangerous Chase. Apparently there was a send away offer and whoever owned it at one point wanted that send away item so there's a gaping hole on the back where the barcode used to be.  :o The other GB and the one GBC game came from a retro shop we found. That same shop had a few NES manuals I scooped up as well as a EU DS game, Boulder Dash Rocks!

Hit up a GS down the street and found a CIB Monsters vs. Aliens on DS for the kids for 0.99¢ (089¢ after PUR  ;)) and a PS3 game called R.U.S.E. for $3.

Last place we hit was this hidden away little mom n' pop store that was one part game store and one part arcade. The place was rather small (and humid) and we managed to get there before they closed. My cousin hit the mother lode on NES sleeves while I found a few games, the Tinkerbell game for the girls and the Hurry Up Hedgehog game for me. They were $5 each and just before leaving I also spied a PokePark on Wii for only $7 that I picked up.
