Dukes of Hazzard, The: Racing For Home
Original: http://vgcollect.com/item/6506
Dupe: http://vgcollect.com/item/101708

Both entries have same sized photo. Dupe has more information filled out in regards to barcode and box text but was missing some things like Publisher/Developer and Release date. I put in edits for those. Also, the dupe entry has the correct title whereas the original did not.

The title still needs fixing to add the "The" to it.

Nice find on that Fishing Resort theflea, if you run across any more, let me know.  ;)

Interactive Figures
Darth Maul - Disney Infinity 3.0 Figure
Ezra Bridger - Disney Infinity 3.0 Figure
Fear - Disney Infinity 3.0 Figure
Hulkbuster - Disney Infinity 3.0 Figure
Ultron - Disney Infinity 3.0 Figure

I found all of these at a Best Buy on the way back from a flea market we went to. They were all marked as clearance and priced at $4.99 each ($4.00 after GCU was taken off  ;D). They had several more listed at that price but were out of stock on them including Sam & Quorra from Tron, Mulan (who I thought I had but actually don't  :P), and the cast of Star Wars Rebels. Most of the Star Wars characters were priced at $8.99 as well as Disgust and Sadness from Inside Out so it was curious why only half the line was discounted but the others weren't. The new releases like Black Panther, Ant-Man, Boba Fett and the LightFX Best Buy exclusive Anakin were all stickered as normal price (which is to be expected since they only just came out).

Best Buy was closed on Sunday because of Easter so I couldn't run up to my local store to see if they had any of the ones that one store was sold out of. We checked the website last night and the sold out ones all called up as being $4.99 but I checked it again Sunday morning and they all reverted back to $13.99 so I'm wondering if it was a special weekend price.  :-\

^ Who did they shoehorn into Green Lantern? Every character was a GL character.

That's the problem. The scale of movie was too ambitious. This isn't some hindsight is 20/20 thing; they should have just copied Marvel's style tit-for-tat and copied the pace of something like the first Iron Man movie. Green Lantern came off to me as some overly anxious grand epic wannabe instead of being a decently entertaining and well written popcorn flick.  ;)

What Green Lantern should have been was him getting the ring and taking on an Earth level threat. Given his rather weak rogues gallery, Hector Hammond probably would have been the best choice as I'm sure characters like The Shark, Tattooed Man or a fellow who goes by the name Evil Star wouldn't go over well with audiences.  :P Once the Earthly threat is contained, they then should have opened up the mythos at the end of the movie and shown that Hal was just one of a couple thousand active duty Green Lanterns. Up until that point at the end of the movie there should have been no Guardians. No Kiliwog, Tomar Re or any other GLs. Definitely no Parallax. Sinestro should have made a brief appearance at the end to fetch Jordan and that's it. That way, people anticipate a sequel and if they were truly ambitious about having a Cinematic Universe in the vein of Marvel's, they could have dropped plenty of references throughout the movie like equipment bearing LexCorp or WayneTech logos, made allusions to "the alien protector of Metropolis" or revealed other Easter eggs like showing  footage of an "Aquaman" hanging out on some rocks by the ocean who dives into the sea when he realizes he's being filmed.  :P

Based on what I've seen in the trailers, BvS appears to be heading down that same path as the GL movie. I want it to be entertaining and a foundation for a good Cinematic Universe but them dropping Doomsday on us doesn't exactly get my hopes up.  :o

its coming out on the 25th and its already has a 39% ( 30% for top critics)  on rotten tomatoes, i was hoping it would be good but it seem like its going to be a big old disappointment   :'(

I'd say I'm surprised at these scores but I'd be lying.  :P

I'm a HUGE DC fan with years and years of comics collected. I'd estimate a good 75% of my collection is DC published books. Superman and Batman are soundly and without question my numbers 1 & 2 favorite super-heroes (with Spider-Man, DC's Captain Marvel & the Huntress rounding out my top 5 for those curious  ;)). That said, this looks/feels/sounds TERRIBLE to me. I can't see myself willingly paying money to see this. Now that they've released more trailers it seems to me that they're trying to really shoehorn in as much as they can to kick start/ramp up their own Cinematic Universe. Apparently they learned nothing from Green Lantern.  ::)

I imagine it will do well enough money wise but It'd be funny if it tanked like the FF reboot did.  ;D

Hmm...Rogue Galaxy is somewhat tempting. But I'm not sure how I feel about that pricey-poo.

I've been in contact with my friend and I told him that some of his prices might not appear attractive to people. He's left it up to me to negotiate/haggle as he just wants to be rid of them and I told him I could help him get more via forums than he could if he went to the local mom n' pops to "sell" (more like pillage and then they feeBay them). Please feel free to message me and let's see if we can work something out.  :)

Hey, I thought it was a valid comment. No need to be snide, especially when you're not the OP.

Some of the games are tempting, but the prices are also a little too high for me.  Not the OP's fault, as they've already said that they are just passing along the info from a friend.  Best of luck to Flashback2012 and their friend, though :)

I do appreciate that desocietas.  ;) Truth be told, gas around here jumped to about double that. I'd LOVE to see some 0.92ยข/Gallon gas.  ;D As with kashell, if there's something you're interested in feel free to message me about it.  ;)

Hello Hikaru Ichijyo, the market rules say you need something with your name on it in the picture!

Really...is that what we're doing now?  :P

Okay then...

I rummaged around in most of those threads and a few didn't even have pictures. If they did, I didn't see any notation indicating they belonged to the respective OPs nor did I see any indicating watermarks. Some of these are from more established members as well as site admins (plus a couple of new members thrown in for good measure). I also double checked and most all of them were created at some point this year so that whole 9/6/14 notation thing can't apply. I didn't see anything in the rules that said that they don't apply to senior members and/or admins.

Now I'll be more than happy to retake photos of the games that are still for sale with a little note saying Flashback2012/Hikaru Ichijyo or whatever else you deem satisfactory on the card...as long as everyone else follows the same rules that I have to.  ;) If not, then I assume I'll have to do as the rules say and venture over to the Site Feedback section to make a case for the possible abandonment of that particular detail. I'd like to think there's a minute possibility that making such a suggestion MIGHT invoke some kind of change...I'm trying to be optimistic here because after all the Rules do state "The above rules are not final and may be amended in the future if necessary and as situations change."  ;) Since we're both members on the Neo-Geo forums, what's the system's tagline? "The Future is NOW"?  ;D

Now for the disclaimer...my response is tongue in cheek and not meant to sound sardonic. I'm more bewildered than anything as my post on that site is near identical to this one sans pictures (which thanks btw, I'll be sure to supply the imgur link on that post). On that site you replied to that thread with "No pictures, no buy" and yet there are photos on this site but instead of possibly working out a deal here, I'm getting put on point for missing a small detail that no one else seems to be following in their posts either.  ???

For my fellow "toys to life" fans/collectors out there, a Light FX Darth Maul figure is being released in the beginning of April.

I couldn't find any information on a LightFX version of Darth Maul? Did you mean Kylo Ren?

Incidentally, I got it ready for you when you inevitably pick it up.  ;D

I wasnt expecting to go out today, but more finds this weekend.

NICE snag on that Konami Classics V2. I've been hunting for that one for quite a while now.  :P

I hadn't planned on leaving the house today as well but ended up being out and about most of the day. Towards the end of the day I ended up at Meijer looking for plastic bins with drawers. I found a couple that I was interested in but they weren't the right color so we decided to drop by the electronics section to see if there was anything good. I ended up finding an incorrectly discounted Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer bundle. The non-bundle version was on sale this week for $29.99 but someone had put the incorrect sale sticker over the price of the bundled version and they honored the sale price for me without issue.  ;D

I was looking at some old back issue comics I picked up and was admiring the video game advertisements on their back covers. I had one cover dated sometime in late 1992 that was advertising the FCI NES games Hillsfar and Pool of Radiance. I realize that there was far more advanced games on the market at the time in that the SNES had debuted a year earlier as did games like Sonic the Hedgehog. Still it was pretty neat to see NES games being advertised that late into the system's life. What's more, I found another book with a cover date of Jan 2001 which means it came out sometime in late 2000 and the video game ad on it's back cover was for the PS2 game Smuggler's Run.

It's fascinating to me at least to see how far gaming/graphics had come in just 8 years time.  ;)
