My son is jealous.
If I did my math right, it ran me about $113 (not including sales tax) for all of the Fun Packs or just under the equivalent value of buying two brand new PS4/XBONE games. Both GameStop and Best Buy have the Fun Packs at 50% off or $7.50/each. GameStop's sale ends today (Tuesday) but Best Buy's sale is good till Saturday. There are 3 additional Fun Packs releasing on 1/19 (Today) in the form of Doctor Who's Cyberman, Ninjago's Sensei Wu and BttF's Doc Brown. I'm planning to pick them up this weekend from Best Buy and I'm hoping the GCU stacks with the 50% pricing (it should).
The GhostBusters Level Pack and DC Team Pack (Joker/Harley) should also be out today.

Huh, I had never heard about this until now. Gameplay looks amazing! Just bought it off of Amazon. Definitely has the look for a $100+ game in a few years.
I saw this in the case at my local Toys R Us over the holidays. I can't imagine it growing legs like Devil's Third did but you never know.

No idea really. I do remember the first system we ever owned was an Atari 2600 (Bought from Sears in all of its wood-grain glory ). The first three games we owned were Combat, Gunslinger, and Speedway II. If I had to guess we played Combat first.

Based on your pictures it looks legit to me.
The only "issue" with your copy is it appears to be a Majesco reissue release as evidenced by the "Made in Mexico" printed on the cartridge. In the twilight years of the SNES, Majesco had arranged a deal with Nintendo and several other publishers to re-release some of their better known games as companies were shifting their focus to the 32/64-bit consoles. Most of the Majesco releases were inferior in quality as their labels on the carts didn't look as sharp and they reprinted the instruction books in black & white. I noticed yours is has a color manual so check the spine to see if it says "Made in Mexico" or "Made in Japan". What could have happened is the store owner Frankensteined a complete copy together from different sources.

New Year...new Pickups!
I got dragged out to breakfast/lunch this morning after only 4 hours of sleep ( ) and afterwards we hit up Target. Nothing decent clearance wise but I found a stray pack of Disney Infinity 2.0 Power Discs (Marvel) on a shelf and decided to scan them. They scanned at $1.50/pack. I moseyed over to the Infinity section and found 11 more packs and grabbed them all. I had 8 packs worth of unique discs and 4 packs worth of doubles.
Most places are closed today so that limits our ability to gallivant around (and the places that are open have Sunday hours
).
