Mortal Kombat Gold, nothing wrong with it, people were upset it wasn't a new game, but the game wasn't just a port of Mk4, it had better physics, graphics, additional characters, a better camera, and much better audio and voice.

Singularity is another one, i don't know what people were expecting another timeshift? (which was terrible btw) so not sure about that one either.

Megaman 8 is another, it's technically-objective wise, the best and most modern Megaman game we have gotten and will probably get for the foreseeable future despite it being basically more of the same game with a few coding and voice(debatable) issues (and also very easy)

Last would be Crash Wrath of Cortex, it was basically an expanded Crash 3 with more varied levels, better graphics and controls, and tons of bonuses. load times varied by system so should have never been the general concern, more of the same is nonsense, and I see no repetition either. At least not one some reviewers imply.

Damn N-gage, they should have though game screen first then phone. It has good games but even then a lot of them look like overly pixelated garbage because the screen is small and vertical.

Just get used TG16 games, even the hard ones usually go for good prices.

Try to avoid most of Ebay (you may have to look in the underground or auctions for good prices) since they like to inflate systems they never heard of yet the games they are charging $5000 have a lot of print.

Wow Quest 64, I didn't know that below average game was that expensive!

Sealed copies of bad games usually cost more. id it was just in box it would be much cheaper.

I don't want to look condescending, but...

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=super+nintendo+exclusive+games

First result on both gives you the Wikipedia page will all exclusives. This is probably the best lists, too, so it should help!

Missing tons of games. it's why I don't recommend using Wiki.

If I hadn't closed my twitter account long ago, I'd totally tweet how much I'd want to see this happen!

Eh, takes like 2 seconds to set one up.

Classic Video Games / Re: The Ratchet & Clank series, your impressions?
« on: September 07, 2014, 11:08:01 am »
I've never played any of them and there is a few reasons for that I guess. One is a perceived similarity to Jak & Daxter, a series I had long ago invested in, enjoyed, and still yet to complete. To me, this sort of left Ratchet looking like an also-ran. Secondly, the sheer number of entries is daunting. I like 3D platformers, but that's a lot of entries for a game that debuted during the PS2 era. Lastly, I've always felt turned away from the games because I found the subtitles hideously juvenile, and thought if the in-game humor was anything similar, I might not be able to stomach it and actually enjoy the game.

But I know there are plenty of Ratchet fans out there. How are the games actually? Good? Worth investing into all 20 sequels? Any that are particularly better than the others? I ask because I finally popped on a cheap copy of "Going Commando" the other day.

Well considering Ratchet is more valuable. Sells more, and is not similar to Jak in anyway, I think that warrants investigation alone.

The game has large worlds with plenty of variety. Interesting gadgets and weapons that often feel different. Tons of things going on in screen, sometimes you wanna just look around. Tons of bonuses as well.

Jak is more constrained and traditional in general. I am including Jak ii and 3 in that statement as well.

I personally want Assault to be retried honestly. Just better.

Not sure if you can count a collection as an exclusive since MPT and the Kirby Collection are older games already released on other consoles excluding MP3.

Are they on XBox or PS systems? Nope.

Is the Wii multiple nintendo systems or just one different system? This is exclusive by consoles not Nintendo family but I get what your saying. The argument would hold more weight if the ports had significant exclusive features.

My Dreamcast suddenly stopped reading any sort of controller input. It boots up to the "input date and time" screen and will not read either controller I have. It worked just fine yesterday. Is this a known problem with an easy fix?

Take a damp cloth or paper towel, wipe the edge of the controller insent. and the port on the console itself, plug it in and shake it up and down a bit for static, turn the device on. Might take two times. It works most of the time until you unplug the controller. Not a permanent fix.

Wait, isn't that was Halo Anniversary was?

The last anniversary Halo was just for Halo 1.  The new collection will included the anniversary edition of Halo 2 along with the previously released Halo 1 anniversary edition.

Well wait a minute, the Halo 1 A wasn't in 1080p 60fps right?
