I've definitely picked up video games while visiting different countries. Back before the Wii Mini was released in the States, I bought one in Prince Edward Island of all places while on holiday there. At the time it had been out in Canada for a while and there was no sign it was going to ever come out in the US.

Nope. Been doing it for years without issue. The only real problem I had at first was configuring my drives to force 144hz. Windows for whatever reason would only do 60 but thanks to nvidia drivers you can basically make custom profiles for various resolutions, bit depths and refresh rates.

I work in a medium sized game studio and almost everyone there is a gamer in some form or another. They ask "Why do you need seven Gamecubes." Because I like Gamecube, that's why! There are only a few that purport to being game collectors. They get it, but most don't.
