Slowness/Lag with the drop-downs - Item Creation Page (Google Chrome)

Anyone experiencing slowness/lag with the drop-down options when creating new items (Google Chrome browser)?

Have been getting this issue for about a week now
Seems to get this issue when editing existing items as well.

Just created a new item with "Microsoft Edge" and it seems to work normally

I already have that most of this year. Once you get past Release Type, its ok again.

Yes it has been a problem for awhile. Alternate implementations have been suggested.
