Cover Scanning Tips

Anyone have any tips for getting a really good scan?  Right now I'm trying to scan in a PS3 cover that I can't find anywhere (Greatest Hits ver. of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection) and it's coming out kinda washed out looking with a bit of a moire on it.  Any advice/tips would be appreciated!  :)

became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the
desire to be very grown up.” ― C.S. Lewis

300-600 DPI, crop, descreen (blur), color correct if needed.
