I was wondering about adding some GameCube beta testing consoles to the hardware section. Some stuff like the NR Reader looks pretty much like a regular GameCube but with the obvious cosmetic and packaging differences.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-GameCube-NR-Reader-NTSC-BOXED-/112278391796?hash=item1a24504bf4:g:0VIAAOSw-0xYhQKp
I thought these would be ok so I added a couple for PAL and NTSC, but there are obviously much more extreme dev kits that look nothing like the actual consoles and more like computer hardware. I noticed we don't really have any guidelines about dev hardware or if they should be in the database at all. Was that something we wanted to discuss?

I don't mind people adding development hardware. The only issue is that a lot of stuff out there isn't documented very well or from reliable sources.

I plan on putting the PS2 dev hardware into the database, in fact one is already in there. I don't see a problem with it.
I would probably set the entry to to "unreleased but official" option.
