Like throughout the whole game franchise they do all this wreckless fighting and then Bowser kidnaps peach and mario beats him up and throws him in Lava and abuses him and than typically makes a mockery of him in front of all his friends even going so far as to beating up Bowser's adolescent son. Long lasting fights through flaming levels all repeated every so many years because he comes back. But never throughout the whole game do they have a proper sit down with Bowser with a professional psychiatrist possibly on the Dr.Phil show or something and say "I'm here for you big fella and I love you. We all love you. Who wants me to rub their shell?" Never not once. I bet if you caressed his spikes and said he had a nice shell he wouldn't be so mad. He'd probably get a chuckle out of it.
