Well, I finally have some good news to share. My Santa has made contact with me. He hasn't forgotten! It's a miracle! It looks like I'll be getting my gift after all.

Appreciate you guys all trying to help out, though now it won't be necessary. I understand that some of you have already made the effort - thanks so much for being there! Sorry about all of the panic, I just now found this out. The crisis seems to be averted. Will confirm whenever my gift arrives.

Just to piggyback on what warmsignal posted:
I want to thank everyone who helped with this, even though in the end it ended up not being necessary. I want to say that I’m surprised by the outpouring of support, but I’m not surprised at all. Having known many of you personally for several years, I knew exactly what to expect. I’m beyond proud of our little community that we’ve created here.
