Real Seal or Re-Sealed?
« on: May 23, 2020, 11:09:58 pm »
I recently bought a copy of the Japanese version of the first Spyro game from ebay. I had intended to use it as a play copy, so when I saw a listing in the US that said it was a used copy and in good condition, I jumped on it. When it arrived in the mail today I found out it's sealed. I'm very new to collecting PS1 games so I'm not entirely sure how they're sealed, especially how different regions sealed their games. Apologies if the images are too large, I tried resizing them.

That's a re-seal my brotha.  The folks over in Japan shrink wrap most of their used games & hardware to keep them fresh.

Thanks for the reply, now I don't have to worry about it being devalued by opening it. Gonna be satisfying opening it like it is a new copy.

Yeah it's resealed. Check out the rabbit ears on the plastic edge. I don't think it should be that way poking up.
