Nintendo Direct June 2022

Thoughts? Reactions?

Sonic Frontiers is looking better and better, yet less and less like a Sonic game. And I'll probably check out the Pac-Man World remake, if they don't give it a full $60 price tag.

I don't understand why they are making another Super Bomberman R when no one even bothered to play the free version. Konami would've been much better off making a Death Jr. remastered collection.

A We Love Katamari remake would've been better than Pac-Man World.

Dragon Quest Treasures looked decent but I wish it was made for other systems then ported to Switch because the visuals aren't as good as the original version of Dragon Quest XI.

Why is Live A Live being brought to Switch before Mother 3? Nintendo is even publishing it for some reason.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will be worth checking out once the free version is released.

Fishing Spirits: Fish and Play Aquarium from the from the Japanese version of this Direct looked interesting.

My current wishlist for Nintendo is Odyssey 2, a new AAA IP like ARMS/Splatoon, 3D Donkey Kong, 3D Wario or even Waluigi, 3D Chibi-Robo remaster/remake/new game whatever and last but not least a Nintendo metaverse heavily inspired by Wii U's Nintendo Land with more social elements inspired by StreetPass and even Miiverse.

Not a single thing for me at this mini showing.  Pretty dire really.  I could've been interested in the Ultraman Monster Rancher styled game, but it's Japan only, so I'm still here with nothing really to look forward to this year on Switch aside from a couple things I'm going to get on Switch purely because I made it my retro system whenever possible, so like the Capcom collections, indie sprite games, stuff like that which works well for Switch.
