August 2026 - Recently added to collection/recently purchased

Big last few days in collecting.

1. Sonic Adventure (PS3/PSN)
2. Sonic Adventure 2 (PS3/PSN)
3. Motostorm (PS3) -- Confirmed works.
4. Killzone Collection (PS3) -- Confirmed all 3 games work.
5. Ducktales Remastered (PS3) -- Waiting for it to arrive.
6. Prince of Persia 2008 (PS3) -- Waiting for it to arrive.
7. Unreal Tournament 3 (PS3) -- Confirmed works.

For the Sonic Adventure games, it does fly in the face of my preference on physical media, however, I don't have a Dreamcast or a Gamecube right now and the pair cost a total of $15. I'm expecting to buy a Gamecube again and at that point will buy the physical versions, but for now, this allows my son to enjoy them before they become inaccessible once the PS3's PSN shuts down.

Incredibly happy to have a working version of both Motorstorm and Unreal Tournament 3. Both are simply really fun to play.

I've been slowing down my collecting since about June because I'm trying to build up a good financial safety net. I'm trying to limit myself to 2 games and no more than $70 per month for now. Obviously if a great deal pops up I'll make an exception, but that's how it will be until the end of the year. Probably early next year I'll get back into collecting full-force, I want to try to finish my collection before prices start going up for 8th and 9th gen.

The final PS3 game I'm hunting for the rest of the year is Mortal Kombat 9 Komplete Edition with the black label with everything. So far, I've only been able to find it without the manual. Everything else has been the Greatest Hits red versions and most of those don't have the manual either. *sigh.

To clarify, I'll continue buying PS3 games to round out the list next year, but need to catch up on this amazing backlog that I binge purchased.
