Those are totally radd!!  I could have sworn I had one of them, so I went on a hunt through old boxes of books and whatnot.  Came across this instead:

I had the Ninja Gaiden book... It was awesome! lol

I do remember owning a really killer Mario comic though! More like a book, as it had a glossy cover and was perfect bound. Full color pages IIRC. The story was about Koopa and crew busting out of a kid's Game Boy at the mall and wreaking havoc. Had to have been circa '92?

My friend actually has the Worlds of Power Metal Gear book, which he found at a used book store for 3$ (he told me it kind of sucked though)... I need to ask him if he still wants it so I can have it
Otherwise I don't think I've ever owned or even read any video game books/comics like that... I was happy with just playing the games.

Awesome! While rooting in my dad's attic the other day, I found the Metal Gear one. Had completely forgotten about these!
