I did get rear ended at a stop light but thankfully there was no damage so I didn't even call the cops. My car is like an ice cube right now though.

I don't, but I work in an old building with terrible insulation and terrible A/C and heating.

Heck no. I just get cold easily. Cold weather doesn't help.

Yeah. It SUCKS. Long Johns with pants, three shirts, coveralls, face guard, hat and beanie, hoodie, jacket and coat with two pairs of gloves. Luckily, I bought Redwings over the summer and they're pretty well insulated or else I'd be doing the two socks thing. Of course, this isn't even the coldest it'll get yet.  :-\

So, let me tell you about how much it sucks to get your tonsils out at 36.

A lot.

Can I chat with you about it?
Ask away.  I will go ahead and say that I'm being a bit melodramatic.

I'm on day 6 post-surgery right now.  Every day has sucked in its own unique way, but I honestly think today might be the worst.  The scabs started to break apart and fall off yesterday, which has exposed the raw tender spots underneath and OH MAN does it hurt.  It's been the first genuine / serious complaint I've since the procedure.  Everything else has been mostly minor discomfort or irritation (Days 3 and 4 were a ton of sleeping), but this is genuine pain - the kind of stinging/ aching in my throat that I had the surgery to prevent.  Hopefully once it passes I won't have to deal with it anymore.

Oh, also I'm snoring now, which is a thing I never did before.  It should be stopping in the next 2-3 days as the last of the inflammation dies down, but its been so loud I've woken myself up more than once.
