Before logging on here, I went to some usual forums on GameFAQs.
It's like everyone across the website woke up and thought to themselves, "Hey. Do you know what sounds fun? Being a total ass-hat about something as trivial as video games."
I'm not sure how it is on other forums, but the amount of venom and awfulness there seems to have gotten worse. Why do gamers feel the need to pick apart sentences from and just ridicule one another? I'm guessing it's insecurity. Or maybe they feel invincible behind the computer monitor. I think we've discussed this topic before. I will never be ashamed of being a gamer, but goddamn there are some folks out there that tarnish the hobby's image.
