Long time no post. How are all?

Let me detail my evening for you fine folks.

I got home from work, home internet is down.  (Still down)  Read my clock wrong and showed up to the midnight release at 10pm.  Came back around 11:10pm because they said they would start selling at 11:30pm.  Preorder customers get jumped to the front of the line past the people who were out there for days.  So I was first in line.  Guy behind me is apparent a fairly prominent local youtuber, never heard of him.  People walked in.  Guy behind me preordered at a different store, tried to throw a fit, gave up and left.  15th guy or so in line grabbed a master edition from behind the counter and started hugging it.  Aa far as I saw, he wound up not being able to buy it, the store got 2 master editions in stock for that were up for grabs, rest were preorders.  Pretty sure they made him give it to the lady who had been out there for days waiting.  I forgot my CC in the car, so I had to run back to my car.   In the process of running, my 3DS went flying, luckily it seems fine, people had a good laugh at my expense.  Then we sat in the store for a while waiting for 1201am so they could let us out of the store.

sounds hectic. glad you got it and are playing presumably right this second. make sure to leave a post on your thoughts in the switch discussion thread or start a new thread! I get off work today at 2PM ill be at the store grabbing it by 2:20 and have the long trip to be able to play it with my GF who lives a long way from me for school. I should be able to sit down and play it around 4:30-5 if im fast.

Someone had a Dreamcast up for sale on eBay, console only, and the lid was pretty yellowed. But it worked.

He had it up for $33 Buy It Now, and has a "Make an Offer" option.

So I offered him $30, and he declined it.

...why even put up the "Make an Offer" button if you're not gonna accept offers? It's not like I asked for half off or anything, it was only $3. Frustrating.

He had it up for $33 Buy It Now, and has a "Make an Offer" option.

So I offered him $30, and he declined it.

...why even put up the "Make an Offer" button if you're not gonna accept offers? It's not like I asked for half off or anything, it was only $3. Frustrating. 

He wouldn't take less than $32.99 for it.

Ugh, I hate that. Sometimes I'll try to knock off $5 or $10 off of something that's like $60 and they'll write back saying that they'll take off $1. Why bother having "or best offer" indeed.

I had one of those. I actually responded to them. Asked them why the hell even bother when you arent willing to budge and that a $1 an $80 item is fucking insulting. They never responded lol.

Speaking of the Dreamcast, anyone here want to help me out with that, by chance? Just need the console only, working. I kind of broke mine by accident when I was trying to restore the color, a ribbon cable ripped.

It's probably that when you create a new listing, eBay automatically check marks allow buyers to make an offer. You have to remember to uncheck that.

I just can't let a good deal slide. Some dude was wanting $80 for a master system with complete Rastan and Altered Beast.

I shot him $60 and he took it. It was a deal.

Lol, I had the same problem the other day where a seller was listing a CIB Raiden Project at $55. I shot him an offer at $50, but his counteroffer was the same price, and then he ended up altering the regular price to $65 in the meantime with $7 for shipping......smh
