I got my shipping notice for it last night so I should hopefully be terrorizing humanity in HD by this weekend.

So apparently when my neighborhood was built the contractos used substandard PEX for the plumbing in several houses.  I've currently got about my 8th leak in 6 years.  After the third or so we just started fixing them ourselves.

But this latest one is some where between the meter and the house, so we are having to outside to turn the water on and off, and we can't pinpoint it ourselves.  The plumbers coming out to give an estimate today.  I'm afraid I'm gonna get raked over the coals.  Crossing my fingers for a "reasonable" price.

Yeah, I was annoyed when it was like 3 back to back last month where one was like name 150 games.  I honestly try to ignore it, but yeah, it's annoying.

In a way it kind of is

I just typed up a 3-page assignment for my students...and it got corrupted.

I plugged in a flash drive to back it up even, that's when everything on my computer froze up. Control-Alt-Delete did not a thing. So I had no choice but to give it a hard shutdown. When it booted up again, my 3 pages were nothing but hashtags!

Then just ignore and override. These are quite common on forums and they don't do any harm whatsoever; on the contrary, they keep the forum active in a way. Or are we all of a sudden opposed to that? They're just having some fun.
