Yeah I'm glad to have it. Granted, it was a pain hunting down the CE after, but I lucked out and got the PS4 version. Even if I want to play the PC version at least I have the cool swag and now a sweet shirt!

Yeah I was really pissed when it got cancelled but I was able to snag a PS4 version not too long ago. I'd like to play it on the PC, but at least now I have all the cool swag

I just read this interview. Sounds really interesting! Super happy they're going to utilize every character and not be stuck with only 3 actually usable characters.

I haven't played Last Hope yet so it's a little disheartening to hear the producer talk about it not being very good. But still, everyone seemed to hate til the end of time and I enjoyed that one quite a bit. Gotta find time to play 4.

I really enjoyed Star Ocean 4, but it's far from perfect. I think I gave it an 8/10 when I reviewed it, but looking back I'm thinking it's more worthy of a 6.5 ~ 7. There was a lot they could have done with it, but I still recommend the game to folks who enjoy the series. I think it's the first game in the series that lets you actually explore space aka the "star ocean."

Unless it's changed in the last few years, they aren't expensive. I was able to find Star Ocean: The Second Story (PS1) on eBay for about $20, and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (PS2) for about $5 at GameStop. And IIRC, the SNES Star Ocean was only released in Japan.
