Collection Uploading via CSV?
« on: October 15, 2012, 11:20:22 pm »
Not sure if it has been suggested but I noticed the collection can be exported to a csv but it would be nice to be able to upload a similarly formatted CSV to save some time for those with very large collections.

Any way to add friends? so I can see their collection and compare?

If you send the file to Matt, he can upload it for you.
This message was brought to you by Tootsie Rolls, the official candy of vgcollect.com

As long as the file is in the same format as the export, I can take care of it. The problem is that you have to make sure the names are exact since that is how we'd match them up. When I've done it in the past for other users, it caught probably about 95% of the games. I then just provided them with a report of which games didn't take so they could add them manually.

If you wanna do this just send the csv to matt@vgcollect.com. I should be able to take care of it over the weekend.
