Some suggestions

Just a few suggestions for the site that I think would add to the appeal to come for more than just editing your collection.

1. Reddit like (up/down) vote system on each game
2. Game thoughts (comments) on each game
3. Ability to add friends
4. You get badges for how many games you have, but how about badges for how many games/hardware that you add/edit?

Thanks for the time it took to read this -- just a few quick ideas.

I'll comment on the rest later...but #4 is coming soon. We are already tracking edits/submissions but I am just slacking with adding the code. :)

But seriously though. The plan for badges is to eventually only show the highest tier of each badge on your collection page, and then show all of them on your stats page. There are badges for beta testers, games, database edits, forum posts, database submissions and for using the android app.

Currently the android, beta ones and the # of games badges are the only ones that work.
