Yo, Foxhack, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but I was browsing through someone's eBay shop and had forgotten all about this game.  Used to be a fave when I was young and had no idea what the name of the game was but remembered very well the little elements of the game:

Once I saw that blue dino, I was like... "wait a second..." and looked up a video of it.  I remembered everything, those red plants, the pineapple, the cavemen eating you alive if they caught you (which didn't seem at all weird or violent to me at the time).
