This seems like a goofed item. Found it in the Wii U section. Someone probably didn't search this game correctly and added this thinking it wasn't on here.

Foxhack told me that Japanese games are supposed to be entered with their Japanese title (like this  http://vgcollect.com/item/31915), but it's not written in the Style Guide. I guess it could help to add it  :)

... huh.

The correct entry is for a boxed version, while the dupe is for the game only. I guess they should stay separate?

Than why does it ask to enter the English name?

If everything was in the Japanese no one will find what they're looking for.

If the alt title search worked, we wouldn't have this issue because people who enter Japanese games with English titles would find the Japanese games through them.

I think it means to enter the name as "read" in English, but still use the original name. Like, Japanese titles aren't written in Kanji (Japanese symbols), but the titles are written in their Japanese promnounciation. Do I make sense?  :-\

Yeah I totally agree. Keep the localized name, just translate it. Example: Japanese A Link to the Past should be Triforce of the Gods.

We can continue this conversation on THIS thread.

First entry (http://vgcollect.com/item/31915) is for the game with GBA cable bundle (big box), second one (http://vgcollect.com/item/59989) is for the game only.
The name in English is written on the box, same as in Japanese Kanji.

Nevermind me then! I guess it would be good to add "(bundle)" to the big box's title though, as to prevent further confusion.

The title in the front of the box is what we should be going with, not any translated versions, even if they're official (and that is as official as you can get.)

And the back of the box for that game only entry has no JAN, so it's a bundle only item. I guess we -can- keep it as "Game only".
