Problem with SNES cart

So I have a copy of yoshi's island on the snes and it will only play the sound when I start it up.  My system is in great shape so it's definitely not that.  The pins on the games are nearly perfect and the board looks great.  Any idea what the issues could be?

You have the same problem as descriped here. You might try some of the solutions they give.

It should be the same issue in this case, because Yoshi's Island has the super fx2 hardware bulit into the cart like the doom game. You might want to try some of the solutions that people offer, because it seems that only the sound data loads when the game is inserted into the snes. So try cleaning all the contacts, and get all residue( sometimes it can't be seen on a cart), and make sure you put you connect all the pins of the cart when you reinsert it to the snes.
