Watermelon Games just updated their blog. They are ready to ship out pre-orders! http://www.magicalgamefactory.com/en/blogs/?rdirectlink=41

"If you have pre-ordered anything on the MGF, check your account or email, we will be shipping your pre-orders.

- If you have been supporting our Pier Solar HD KICKSTARTER, check also your email, we will be shipping your rewards after you provided us with your phone number HOH YEAH!. "

If you pre-ordred anything from them then you need to confirm your shipping information on the "My Orders" page. I'm not sure about Kickstarter backers. You'll probably have to confirm shipping through your email/kickstarter.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I got email about this a few days ago. Already confirmed my address and everything.

Is the Dreamcast version available for purchase or is it an extremely limited run for pre-orders( or kickstarter backers) only? Almost downloaded the XB1 version.

So anybody that has this game, how is it?  It seems it is in stock and I'm thinking about buying a copy.

I just completed the first quest and so far so good. I use a vga cable and the game look great. The environment are all updated from the Genesis version, only the characters havent seem to change. You can select between HD/16 bits graphic anytime and switch music from PCM to FM (Genesis quality). The gameplay is like any typical 16-bits RPG from the 90s.

Sounds good to me, did you or anyone buy the strategy guide know the quality of the guide, or if the game necessitates a guide.

Get the guide. I had to check a couple times on gamefaqs to figure out where to go. The dungeons can be sometime tricky by their design, with door and elevator not visible (floating platform hiding behind a pillar). Im still having fun, but its not a easy JRPG.

BUMP!

So far to me it seems there is no difference between the 1st and 2nd reprint editions, is this correct? If you had one of each in front of you, would you be able to tell the difference between the two?

Based on what I have gathered, there are 5 releases on Genesis

Genesis [NA]
Mega Drive [EU]
Mega Drive [JP]
Reprint Edition
Reprint Edition "REPRINT_EP" ... has label on front: (Spanish/Portugese)

As noted, there seems no difference (outwardly) of the first (2011) and second (2015) reprint versions. I have looked at pictures and watched unboxing videos of both and they have the same things inside.

And I am looking at there being 3 entries for Reprint Edition and think they should all be merged.

MD JP is not in the DB, nor is the "REPRINT_EP" one with the label.

But I figure I'd ask people who have these things first if there is a difference between the 2011 and 2015 reprint editions before doing anything.

Yeah, tons of games get reprinted constantly, with no distinguishable differences, and we don't mark them as different.  Like when Gamestop gets in new stock of Call of Duty titles and such.
