Found an unusual copy of Gran Turismo 3... Anyone have any info?

Hi guys, I picked up this copy of Gran Turismo 3 from an online retailer and I was wondering if anyone had any information on it beyond the obvious and its rarity.

I believe it may be from a third print run after the initial print run of red GT3 Greatest Hits discs, but I cannot find anything to substantiate this. It has a unique item number that is different from my other GH copy of GT3, which shares its its item number with the original retail release. I've asked on a few other forums and I was able to find someone who also had a copy of GT3 like this, but he has no idea what it is either.

I think I may have a copy too, that came in a box my friend gave me. Let me check.

Yep, it's definitely from a second run. It has different SCUS and PDSS codes than the standard GH print, plus it has no Sony Hint Line phone numbers.
