December 2015- Tis the Pickups thread

I went to a shop and went through a stack of psp games.  Bought Metal Gear Acid and Metal gear portable ops for next to nothing.  They threw in a bunch of empty psp cases because they dont have the games... and they also made me take a skylanders and skylanders giants starter packs for free, no clue what to do with that, I dont know anyone with a ps3 and my ps3 doesnt work.

Yeah, now I need to find Portable Ops Plus and Metal Gear Acid 2... and some ape escape game.  Those were the cases and manuals that were given to me.

Second and Third Picture: Went to the local pawn shops to see if they had any good games and stopped by one that was having a blow out sale on all ps2 and original xbox games for $0.50 a piece and found 2  in particular that I was looking for. Unfortunately because they were so cheap i just grabbed what i needed from the piles (lots of dups) and ended up with a few that did not end up working. the titles that do not work are crossed out and will likely be returned for different titles next week.

Yeah I can thank my loving GF for finding that. I was going to walk out because I was only in looking at games and systems in their locked case because I figured they would do their research on things that came in. She was the only reason I got the 23 games from that pawn shop. other than shelf wear on the case It looks BRAND NEW, no creases in the manual and no smudges on either disc (other than my own finger prints to see if it would play)

Whats even better is my disc only version of mutation when I sell it back to my the store I got it from will almost pay for all the 50 cent games (they usually pay 60-75% original price for games bought from them)

My friend graciously gave me a sealed copy of Ace Combat 5 from another Secret Santa! I'm itching so badly to play it.

Also picked up Lethal Enforcers to test out the Justifier that I bought over the summer, now that I own a SNES.

Made a trip to Pink Gorilla in Seattle and got a few games...
Parappa, Darkstalkers, Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins and Lumines for PSP, Halo 2 Map Pack for XBox and Fire Pro Gaiden: Blazing Tornado for Saturn, import!
Finally got my first Sega Saturn import. I can put my Action Replay to good use

I ordered a "like-new" copy of Ninja Gaiden 3 Collector's Edition for the PS3 from Amazon Marketplace.  I will wait until it arrives before listing it in my collection as I don't want to jump the gun, then be disappointed if the seller is an idiot and it doesn't include the statue, art book, soundtrack, etc.  Keeping my fingers crossed!
