I would have to go the "rarest finds" route since none of this crap has been cheap!  LOL!  So....

20th Anniversary PS4
Taco Bell Gold PS4
PlayStation VR 2015 Christmas Ornament
PlayStation 20th Anniversary UK Steelbook Case
PlayStation 20th Anniversary Japanese Commemorative Coin

There is a metric ton of other stuff I picked up this year and I don't see any year anytime soon measuring up to what I was able to accomplish in 2015.
Currently playing:  Last of Us Part II Remastered, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition
Currently listening to:  Iron Maiden & Ghost
Currently Watching:  Cyberpunk Edgerunners & Last of Us

Probably the GameCube bundle I picked up a few weeks ago at the local Salvation Army Store. I got an Indigo GameCube, a Platinum controller, a third party Spider-Man controller, some crappy shovelware games, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III, Paper Mario TTYD, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. All for 75 bucks. I also got a number of 15-20 dollar games for the PS2 at thrift stores, but I think that GameCube lot was my best find.

Xbox One Gears of War 500gb bundle, Project Spark, Assassin's Creed game (no idea which - they all look the same to me), Kinect. All brand new for $325 (includes tax).

Now I'm thinking of returning it because I have no idea when I am going to play a Xbox One.

This was a very different year for me in regards to acquiring games. In the past I used to go game hunting all the time and score deals left and right. However, the combination of resellers/collectors saturating the flea markets, thrift stores, and just about everywhere else, and having everything, but rare/valuable rare titles that you aren't likely to come across, I've barely hunted at all. As a result, most of my games have come from Ebay and game stores, which as we all know are about the going rate for a given game. With that said, I can't think of any huge scores I've come across this year. I know I found some cool stuff around January this year, but can't remember.

Best deal?  I would say right after my wife and I bought our house, we went to a yard sale down the street and I got a handful of CIB sega games for $1 a piece.  Not the best year.

Rarest find?  I got 2 complete in box Steel Battalion sets and a complete in box Atari Jaguar.  2 of the 3 of those were gifts from my wife.  The second steel battalion set was a facebook purchase, had to have my brother pick it up in his city and drive it to me weeks later.

I don't do a great job of keeping track of my finds and such.  I used to take pictures and such, but then I kind of stopped at some point.  July to now has been pretty dead for me since we bought our house, haven't done much hunting, but I've been playing Metal Gear and Fallout for months, so I don't really miss the hunt too much.  Before we bought our house?  We were going to yard sales and shops all over town on a daily basis while we working looking for a house to buy.

Best deals... well I picked up many "rare" games and used money i earned selling extras I picked up from garage sales.
So a Game like Little Samson only cost me maybe $200-$300 at most in what I spent on extras from garage sales.

these rare games/consoles I picked up with extra games I sold from garage sales. By doing this I get most of this stuff a quarter of the price I paid or less on average.
- Little Samson (NES)
- Wild Guns (SNES)
- Kieo Flying Squadron (Sega CD)
- Popful Mail (Sega CD)
- Dynastic Hero (T16CD)
- Castlevania X (PCECD)
- Power Blade 2 (NES)
- Rallysport Challenge II (NES)
- Menace Beach (NES)
- My Vision
- Gakken Compact Vision TV Boy with games
- A Colorvision tabletop arcade with 3 games
- Princess Rescue (Atari 2600)
- A Famicom Titler
- A Commodore 64GS

Best deals 2015 (mostly from garage sales)
- A Complete boxed NES Power Set ($10) TWO of them in the same year.  :o
- A NES Deluxe Set box for ($30)
- SNES Kirby's Dreamland 3 ($5)
- A developers Blue PS1 for ($15)
- A TI-99 lot that included 2 consoles, the MBX expansion and close to 30 games and other extras for ($70)
- SNES Final Fantasy III (x2) ($5)
- A PS1 lot that included FFVII, Wild Arms, Wild Arms 2, PE2, Grandia and several more for $8
- A lot of PS1 and PS2 RPGs that included all the Suikoden games, Wild Arms  1&2, Dragons Valor, Beyond the Beyond, Arc the Lad collection (CIB) and other games even a huge stack of guides to all these games for $80
- A N64 in a rental suitcase for $5
- A Jungle Green N64 CIB with 12 games for $30
- A stand up Konami Arcade Cabinet for $50
- A lot of NES boxes
- A NES top loader for $5
- A ton of extra Mario games, Zelda games, Pokemon Games and DK games for all Nintendo consoles. These are what help me get the rare games/consoles I listed above.

Overall it was a good year for me for my collection, I can't wait for next spring and do it all over again.  ;D
I'll try and do all my finds in pictures again so you can see just how much I pick up in just one year.  8)
