I always hit enter on the search button. I know that VG sometimes doesnt show anything, and hitting the button can give a result. I also search with keywords from the title.

I sent the user "itstheflipside" a message about the dupes they are adding, hopefully that stops the bleeding.

I think I and another admin got to these. Just for future notice, no need to message the user unless you're an admin. That way, we don't get multiple users contacting a new user.  Thanks! - Deso

I saw the entries on the sidebar and clicked to this thread to list them for removal. As I was finishing the post, I went back to the main page and saw a couple more had gotten added. I edited that post to include the new ones and hit submit. Wash, rinse, repeat again with a few more new dupe entries. I figured at that point the user was online and it would be easier to just give them a helpful what's up and suggested using partial word searches (for example Pokemon Soul instead of Soul Silver when it's listed as SoulSilver). That seemed to stem the number of new entries. It was less trying to play admin and more "hey buddy you're new, try this out to help your search out so you don't have to keep adding stuff and potentially drawing admin ire" kinda thing. Now that the scolding has been administered it is duly noted and as it were from hereon I'll allow the n00bies to run amok so the admins can properly chase them down.

Ah, no scolding, really! I know other users have been messaging as well to other new users who have been making dupes. I guess my biggest worry is that several users will see the dupes and everyone messages them at the same time. Other issues can also arise, such as inconsistent information, potential for harassment, etc.

But really, I appreciate everyone's efforts to keep the number of dupes down. I love all the efforts from our community here.
